It is a little hard to recap a player that didn't actually ever step foot on the floor for the Hawks this season. Atlanta signed Rolle in early April out of the D-League and he is expected to go to training camp with the Hawks next season.

Rolle made some noise coming out of summer league action this past season and was one of the last cuts made by the Indiana Pacers who really didn't want to let him go. His next stop was to the Maine Red Claws of the NBA D-League where he immediately suffered a knee injury just two games into the season. Once getting healthy, Rolle played in 15 games for Maine while averaging 14.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals, 1.3 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game. If there is a downside to Rolle it is that he is already 25 years old.

With the salary cap situation the Hawks are facing next season, they will be looking for some cheap options to help fill out the roster. Rolle is slated to make $789,000 for next season and if he shows that he can contribute in training camp then it is an added bonus.
