Entering the game with a 2-8 record in their previous 10 games, Atlanta finally broke through against the Arizona pitching staff, which had allowed one run in the first two games of the series. Julio Teheran turned in a powerful performance, tossing 6 1/3 scoreless innings. The Braves attacked D-backs starter Patrick Corbin for four runs in the third inning.
