yea im probably dreaming... i've always liked griffin since his college days.

what about Eddie Griffin + 1st for AL. Griffin's put on some muscles since he came into the league. He's a 4 in the west and could play the 5 in the East. He's a shot blocker like smoove and has been putting up decent rebounding numbers (One less than AL in about 15 minutes less per game). Griffin has not been given the full chance to play to his potential, and he's only 24 years old. He averaged 10.3 rebounds and 3.4 blocks in games he played at least 30 minutes.

how can he defend any post players w/ the body type he has? He's as skinny as a SG. Talk about getting overpowered...

dude, he works HARD at his game, there's no question about that. He spent the entire offseason gaining weight and working on his shot. It's not his fault that he was born not being as smart as the other guys.

Smith will develope into a player that can create his own shot... His improvement from last yr has been tremendous... It's AL Harrington that needs to get out of the way, he's maxed out his potential.

u know what, I think Smoove can be a one of a kind player. Why is there always a comparison?? Let him develope into his own style. I want people to remember him as Josh Smith, not as a clone of someone else.

I'd rather sit through the rest of the season developing our young players. Al is just being a roadblock. Really, the biggest knock on Al, is that he cannot play any D AT ALL. I watched smoove turn the ball over the other night. They were 2vs1 fastbreak and he just defended it like it was nothing. The fact is, defense wins championships in ANY team sports.
