  1. I don't disagree with this at all, they should differ...But I do like it on some occasions. They don't turn it over that much, as the exaggeration we read on here, would make it appear. Hell Smoove had 4 turnovers last night, and we all know without looking them up, 2 of them came from him inbounding the ball...Yes, they are great finishers...but Teague, while improving, doesn't quite have the anticipation that you need from your lead guard on a break. This is why Bibby used to cross half court and throw an alley, to Smoove or Al, because he could do what we PGs call, see into the future...thats just a small point, but when's the last time you seen that pass? The counter to that, I suppose...is our bigs, limit the opportunities for that type of play by bringing the ball up the court themselves.
  2. But i see posters constantly calling Smoove out for doing it, when anyone that saw the game, would notice, it wasn't just him....I think our 2 big men, are talented to a fault. It would be hard pressed, maybe impossible to find any other NBA team, who's 2 big men are capable of leading the break like ours does. And yes they turn it over...but I also notice, when they lead the break, there isn't a big man on the other end of the court waiting on them. Both their skill sets, also lead to unmatched passing between them in the half court set, which was the more effective play, we had....IMO. Which is how, they ended up matching the starting backcourt in assists and only totaling one more turnover.
  3. I keep hearing this Josh intimidating Teague talk and not giving the ball up to Teague, to bring up the floor....so what do you consider the 4 or 5 times, that Al brought the ball up the floor and on a few occasions, led the fast break? I mean Al was playing in his second game, and he did it...Is this intimidation?
  4. LOL...I agree, the obvious difference was the game plan, play design. I would bet, that at least 75% of the plays were ran for Smoove in the post.
  5. All you need to know, is that the Bulls played their 2 stars, 44 minutes a piece and Joe, led us with 40...nothing else, needs to be said.
  6. I'm not sure he should be fired, but it was certainly his fault for allowing the Bulls run at the end of the 3rd, early 4th, to continue.
  7. Two Desperate(s) Make a Right!
  8. Not sure what use we'd have for him at his cost.
  9. I love this move. I would bench Marvin and play TMAC at the 3.
  10. ASG would trade Smoove for Osama Bin Laden and a 2nd rounder.
  11. None of these rumors surprise me any more. I believe the franchise is capable/willing/qualified to do them all.
  12. This has to be an offensive design flaw. Marv hangs out on the perimeter when he's at SF too. When they ran plays for him to post up, he went in the paint. I'm more than convinced that he's just running the plays called.
