In essence you're saying he's the one guy who has been involved with the Atlanta Hawks pretty much the whole time. Since you want Schultz to check the record, why don't you check the records of the franchise in the 60's. It was a lot better than the last 37 years. We have never competed for a title in Atlanta. Heard some very kind remarks about our new defensive coordinator today by a Dallas radio guy. Basically he said this guy is everything you could hope for. He was forced by Bill Parcells to switch to a 3-4. In a 4-3 he is as good as they get. He was making 7 figures as an assistant! He was given the raise because he turned down the Nebraska job to stay with the Cowboys. He has had a run of excellent defenses and has recently held what the guy from the radio says was an undertalented defense above water in an unfamiliar scheme. I was very pleased to not only hear the great things about him, but also the way they were said. Sounded like they were really going to miss this guy. With our talent this could all mesh.

We must have been, right? I've seen his name mentioned like 25 times a thread every thread. Greg Oden is awesome! Our problems are waaay beyond Oden's influence though. Imagine we get him. If we still have the same ownership, it doesn't matter. We have a bunch of guys that got way over their heads. Financially and philosophically, when it comes to basketball. They have let BK stand and have watched Woody for 3 years. I have no, and I mean no respect for their basketball knowledge. They are embarrassing our city!

Stop dreaming! He needs to be put down! He is a total joke. What a waste. Even if his knees didn't magically fall apart, he still sucked and I really don't think any other team would take him.

I don't really like what I've seen from Vick as far as an accountability standpoint. I do think Reeves was the best coach for him. Dan knew a whole lot about football. His offense had a meaning.

How about an apology to every Squawker who saw this happening waaaaay before you did? There is no silver lining. This team is dead. If you were the doctor, you would be telling the family in the ER waiting room to stay calm. He might pop back like Lazarus or something. Keep your head up. Then you would walk away. Be a man. Say you were wrong. It's not that hard.

Isn't it pathetic that he's still trying to "win" games. We already wasted a year with Marvin, and may have ruined his career. We are now doing the same thing with Shelden and Solomon. Royal Ivey is a better player than Speedy. He has just lost all his confidence in this situation. He can shoot and defend bigger people than Speedy. Ironic that a coach whose only supposed saving grace was player development, can't develop a player.

Trading for a player when you still have the same lousy coach will do nothing for you. The player will probably quickly lose respect for BK, Woody and the whole organization. His game and confidence will struggle accordingly. CBA is right. Trading when you are 12 games under won't help anyone. Except the team you are trading with.
