  1. If the Hawks could keep a nucleus of Trae, Hunter, Collins, OO and Capela——-bring Huerter of the bench. Does an expiring Gallo and Bogi along with picks offer much in a trade? Defense is a priority but if Hawks don’t get another creator on offense Trae won’t make it. He will be worn flat out. The Mitchell fit is concerning and Simmons seems to have some issues to say the least. So I’m not sure who another scorer is unless you game in free agency on a Malik Monk off the bench or hope Oladipo is healthy.
  2. Hawks need some perimeter defenders bc the duo of Brown and Tatum is gonna be around for awhile. Keep OO bc he can at least contain Giannis. We need to keep or add size bc I think the Cavs are about to be good with the size they have.
  3. Btw Mitchell and Gobert- I think I’d rather see what it would take to get Jordan Clarkson in here as a 6th man and use our other “assets “ else where…..
  4. I know this won’t put us over the top. But would we be after Drummond and offer him the mid level? Supposedly we tried for him a couple years ago. He’s cheaper than Ayton and Gobert and we could upgrade other areas. Just an idea.
  5. In my opinion, I think: Portland will get Grant somehow. Kyrie will stay or get traded to the Clippers and reunite with Lue. As for the second star coming to the A…..only ones that have not been suggested are D’Angelo Russell and Andrew Wiggins. And I’m not sure how much of a star they are, but Russell does appeal to me because he is a larger Pg.
  6. I say this: Gallo and Bogi are done. Maybe Capela. Collins is not a number 2 option. But, he is 24 and improves year to year. Huerter would be a great 6th man. Young in age too. This will be the first time ever really that Hunter and OO have a full off-season on health to improve.
  7. I think Trae was just worn down. We had to rely on him every game down the stretch. Last year Lou could help. This year we had no one. We need another scorer.
  8. Brogdon from Indy can’t be traded this year either
  9. Haven’t been a believer but we’d be insane to trade Reddish for a draft pick. He may be better than Hunter and Hunter is who we need to trade.
  10. I’ve not read any of these post, but Jalen Johnson was a steal. My goodness.
  11. We need one more center. Just a big body. Give Harry Giles a non guarantee until OO returns
  12. Both. Lou can create. And Gallo looks like he may fall every time he moves. I don’t think the draftees contribute this season
  13. If we can secure Collins and add millsap or Lou. Wow!!!
  14. I think we bring Lou back. We need another guy who can create.
  15. @NBASupes not that I had inside info, but we chatted Wright earlier today
  16. @NBASupes wonder if we can get delon Wright from the Kings? He seems expendable now for them.
  17. Zach Klein is reporting we’re offering Reddish and pick to Indiana. He’s always on it around draft time.
  18. According to O’Connor, the Pacers are “juggling” trade talks involving the No. 13 pick, Myles Turner, and T.J. Warrenin separate scenarios. Jonathan Wasserman of Bleacher Report (Twitter link) hears that Indiana is fielding a lot of calls for the No. 13 selection, including from the Hawks. Atlanta has also been in touch with the Hornetsabout the No. 11 pick, says O’Connor. O’Connor confirms a couple items that were previously speculated, writing that the Knicks are involved in trade discussions for Magic swingman Terrence Ross and reporting that the Hawks have offered the No. 20 pick and Cam Reddish to teams drafting in the late lottery.
  19. Wonder if we’re looking to send Reddish and pick to Pacers for Holiday and their pick.
  20. @NBASupes I'm ok with it, but where would Bagley play if we got him and kept JC?
  21. Seems like we’ve had Aaron Holiday trades to Hawks for past couple years. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get him and would welcome it.
  22. Question: If we sign Collins to an extension, does that money kick in the upcoming season or next?
  23. Rumors galore. Hawks aren’t trading this young core yet. 1. If Collins doesn’t get a max offer, he will be back. And maybe back if he does. 2. Gallo, Dunn and Fernando are the only ones I could see traded. 3. Hunter is the real deal if healthy 4. Huerter proved me wrong and showed he can defend and create his shot 5. Reddish has one more year to show his upside.
