WE NEED THE BOARDS! Bibby is injured... can't you see him limping? The guy had the limp when the game started and has played Damn good. His IQ of the game is what this team needs. Every game counts. He is now our star. Star players play injured in must needed times, ask Kobe.
  2. Have he not notice how Don is punkin him. He made him take out AL and they have been getting 75% of their point in the paint! PUT AL AND BIBBY BACK IN THE DAMN GAME! WE NEED THE BOARDS!
  3. Quote: You know, the guy hasn't even gotten a chance to play this season. I read a lot of people complaining about him, but he flat out hasn't got the opportunities. Let the guy play. He's worked hard in practice and done the right things. Let the guy play. I agree, it has been a very hard year. I only wish the best for the guy. That Steve Smith is funny as crap. After Bibby makes the third 3, he yells out, WE GOT A 2ND SNIPER! LOL
  4. I wanted to see if there were any Big CP3 fans just before/after the draft. I did not find any BIG CP3 fans. Just like I thought, there are a lot of "Monday Morning QBs CP3 FANS" on here. troubleman, you wanted a PG over Marvin but you were not a big Paul fan like you claim to be. The one PG that got any talk was Deron Williams. I must say I liked him over CP3 too. But here are some links back in time to see what some of you guy said about the 2005 Draft. Quote: Re: Players I want no part of in the draft http://www.hawksquawk.net/forums/showflat....odyprev=1#80836 Nicholasp27: chris paul he's too short, and even if he is the next iverson/tj ford, the chances of him being oft-injured are just too high...i'd rather have deron/felton or marvin than paul Re: Hawks to draft Marvin Williams http://www.hawksquawk.net/forums/showflat....odyprev=1#80798 Do not see anyone talking about they are piss and want CP3 here. Majerus says Williams is the best in the draft. http://www.hawksquawk.net/forums/showflat....odyprev=1#80745 No one like CP3 here either. There is more talk of ppl wanting Deron Williams then Paul. Quote: Mockdrafts on Draftcity & NBADraft already updated http://www.hawksquawk.net/forums/showflat....odyprev=1#80429 Blunt91: Those 2 websites have already updated their mockdrafts and both have the Hawks selecting Chris Paul at #2. Andrew Bogut is the #1pick on both drafts. Funny thing, no one cared for what Blunt91 had to say, AND His post was about getting CP3 at two. Quote: Re: reasons why we should draft Chris Paul! http://www.hawksquawk.net/forums/showflat....odyprev=1#79644 DominiqueWilkins: I wouldn't be happy with Paul, but would support him, and Deron Williams would be my frist choice. I don't see Paul becoming a superstar. troubleman: I would prefer Bogut but if the Hawks draft Paul, Dalembert is the big man I want. My concern with that lineup is the lack of three point shooting. Phoenix has 4 guys in their starting lineup that can drain the three. In that Hawks lineup I don't see one. Here is the only Thread I ran into that had CP3 even with Marvin. Even then, no one stood out by saying, "I want Paul at 2." On Draft day... http://www.hawksquawk.net/forums/showflat....er=83361&Forum=,f1,&Words=draft&Searchpage=1&Limit=200&Main=83360&Search=true&where=sub&Name=&daterange=1&newerval=&newertype=&olderval=31&oldertype=m&bodyprev=1#83361 Quote: Re: Draft Day has arrived! With that said http://www.hawksquawk.net/forums/showflat....odyprev=1#86017 Diesel: I say to be safe... Take Marvin... But by the end of the night, try to have his hat traded for somebody else. namely Paul or Williams. The key becomes N.O. Interestingly enough, Toronto plays a big role too! Quote: After the 2005 Draft...
  5. Quote: He was ready to be sent to Denver for Von Wafer but Portland made a better offer. Wafer is a .203% shooter to Salim's 40%. So would BK want him? Is it his size?
  6. I will be the 1st to say I'm wrong about him. Woody can justify not playing him BUT.... I'm on J-Rich's...aka... "Money" bandwagon. I did not see the game last night but he looks to have had another good game. Too bad Woody can't see that. Maybe after going back and looking at the game he and his coaches will see it. They need to find more minutes. [censored], light a fire in M-Williams asher and put him on the bench in place of J-Rich. DANG! WOODY MAKES IT VERY HARD TO BE A HAWKS FAN. I think Brandon "Home Team" Leak said it right yesterday, "Woody puzzles the crap out of me with his random subs." Code: Money's Stat MIN FGM-A 3PM-A PTS 17 6-8 3-4 15
  7. Another trade that makes you go, hmmmmm??? LINK
  8. Quote: Lost 13 of their last 14 on the road. Over their last 38 road games (going back to last season), they are 6-32. This guy has no clue how to get these young guys ready to play on the road. Noooooooo, the "Biggest indictment of Woody" is having him coach a team period.
  9. Quote: Oh STFU with that sh!t already. Get over it. I'm with you too. 95% of everyone back at that time said pick Bogut at 1 and Marvin Williams at 2. If you look at 10 2005 Mock Drafts you will see that too. Now you got these SO CALLED smart guys saying NOW we should have picked CP3. Well DAMN, the Bobcats should have picked Roy at 3 in the 2006 draft. I have never been a big Marvin Williams guy. I said at the start of the season we should trade him for a big but I'm not going to come on here and act like I knew we should have picked CP over him. Marvin was the smart pick in the 2005 draft. The Dumb pick was S-Williams over Roy.
  10. and the name is "MONEY" ...aka J-Rich. He and AC were the good news of the night. BK you F it up again. We need a Big like DeSagana Diop not Bibby. lol BK your new nickname is "Can'tGetRight" lol
  11. Yeah, He said he is still looking for a big.
  12. Too bad he want get the minutes. DAMN, I HATE THE POLITICS IN THE GAME. Blast me all you want but I would take a chance on this cat. He showed tonight he is money. Can't wait to see more.
  13. Quote: Childress for Diop and a Rd.2 is something I would try to get done. Even without the Rd. 2 possibly F that don't trade Chill. he is playing. Trade Marvin. He is doing nothing.
  14. Quote: Quote: I'm sorry guys, but it looks like I'm right. We need to trade Marvin for a big. Marvin is looking like he is only good for a good 17 footer. No we need to trade Joe Johnson for a big! I just can't find out what is up with JJ. He is pissing me off.
  15. Quote: Quote: I'm sorry guys, but it looks like I'm right. We need to trade Marvin for a big. Marvin is looking like he is only good for a good 17 footer. After one half game with our new PG? Go to bed. No it's after seeing Al in foul trouble again. Woody puts in Zaza and we get killed on the boards How does a man over 6'11" shoots under 40%???
  16. I'm sorry guys, but it looks like I'm right. We need to trade Marvin for a big. Marvin is looking like he is only good for a good 17 footer.
  17. Quote: Does this include the one with Miami where we will have to make it up? No, because that game is not complete.
  18. We have only played 49 games. 76ers & Nets have played 53 games Cav & Wiz have played 52 games Raptors 51. The one bad thing about our shot is we still have Woody. lol
  19. I would not be so bold but I hope this guy is Nostradamus Title: Hawks now front runners for east title LINK
  20. Quote: I gave it a shot, but i sucked a putting a 10 on the jersey. So i just gave up and cut it off.
  21. Quote: Not a big fan of Richardson. Isn't he like 6'6 89 LBs Again, He shoots the 3! Three-point field goals: 2004-05, 55-for-137 (.401), 2005-06, 65-for-161 (.404). Totals: 120-for-298 (.403).
  22. Quote: I read that Dallas may be forced to waive him in conjunction with the Jason Kidd trade. That would be a terrific pick-up for us. I know that he is clearly in the twilight of his career, but I'd much rather have someone like Howard who is a great teammate and hard worker than some young project. He knows how to set a screen, block out, rotate on defense, make the extra pass, nail an open jumper and serve as a mentor to someone like Horford. Give me Howard and Mike Wilks and we'll be set with a combination of experienced and youthful depth to scare someone in our first appearance in the playoffs in almost a decade. BOOOOOOO! Get me P.J. Brown.
  23. Quote: Woopdeedoo. He won't get any PT. He'll be gone soon enough. He can't stick anywhere He can shoot the 3! Jeremy_Richardson Three-point field goals: 2004-05, 55-for-137 (.401), 2005-06, 65-for-161 (.404). Totals: 120-for-298 (.403).
  24. Quote: I think he was the MVP of the D-League Allstar Game this year. Now if we could get Dale Davis or PJ Brown that would be really good.....or resign Lo in 30 days if he is cut. EVERYONE WANTS TO BE LIKE MIKE! I will take him. Bring him on.
  25. Quote: You put Smoove at the 3 and you are asking for it, teams would leave him and he would chuck it. I said it maybe 2months ago, Marvin or J-Smoove will be move and the way J-Smoove has been playing he will MOS DEF be a Hawk. Guys you need to realize you cant have it all your way. WE NEED A BIG! if Big AL gets into foul trouble we are in BIG trouble. So, cya Marvin LOL
