Well, you are missing the context. This was about getting a superstar. Do you consider current "core" guys superstars? Then don't apply that quote to them.

The Hawks should offer season tickets for cheap and open up Centennial Olympic park as a gathering spot for those fans to watch the game on the big screen. You're telling me we don't get the Cleveland, Toronto, Minnesota treatment from that guy? The current status of this franchise is just not going to support a #1 guy.
