  1. Come on now supes! You got to admit if Drummond was playing in this game he’d give us some easy baskets and sabonis would have a lot of body to deal with.
  2. Yeah but many believe he has empty stats ....they don't watch the hawks though obviously
  3. Screw anyone who says trae has empty stats! I hate that I really do it bothers me ....right now at this moment trae is 9 of 9 with 28 points and we aren’t up 20 points...let that sink in! sorry mods but EMPTY STATS MY ASS Bingo!
  4. Trae is something else!!! I mean seriously!
  5. Excellent write up ....and I don’t need to fact check it cause I know it’s all true . stretch 5s are overrated !
  6. Spin it up in another thread ! I’m waiting on someone to do it cause I can tell you right now from listening to nba radio all day there have already been shots taken at Simmons...from the players to the staff. “if you’re open you gotta shoot it” supes already said his guy told him Simmons was on the block and I truly believe it. Simmons and embiid do not fit. Elton Brand would probably take huerter, a expiring player contract, and the Brooklyn pick for Simmons (no way in hell embiid will even be thought of to be traded so let’s not go that route)....so do you think Simmons would fit with trae? i legitimately thought about this a few days ago cause if we don’t get Drummond this will come up.
  7. Whoever trades for Drummond will likely be the team that keeps him . That’s my mindset on this . ....and if the hawks have truly been monitoring him this long then they should go about acquiring him in a good deal. personally and this is just my opinion of course I think the hawks have a huge possibility of striking out in the 2021 free agency with just trae and Collins on the team but would seem much much more appealing if Mid to Top level free agents see trae, Collins, Drummond plus the other youngsters.
  8. They can get Parker he’s still young but they can’t have the Brooklyn pick and one of our young core players and I doubt they’ll get any team to give them that. i think it’s either you get an additional 1st rd draft pick plus salary cap relief or you get a young player plus salary cap relief. they will not get a draft pick and a good young player like huerter. Maybe a draft pick and a young player on the level of jones maybe.
  9. Really surprises me how much people value floor spacing centers and those aren’t even the guys you need come playoff time . Take Brooke Lopez for example aka splash mountain as they like to say in Milwaukee. Brooke shot a respectable 36% from 3 last season on a good number of attempts for a role guy. Mind you Lopez is one of the best 3pt shooting bigs in the nba right now BUT made his name in the nba during his net years around the goal and wasn’t shooting 3s at that time however with new era and spacing blah blah BS he added to his game. stay with me I’m about to bring it home.... when the playoffs hit last season...Brooke went from a very respectable 36% 3pt shooter which is actually great for a center to poor 29% and im familiar with a ton of buck fans and they were screaming about Bud not forcing Lopez closer to the goal which is funny cause that reminds me of another group of fans screaming similar stuff in the playoffs when bud was here. lol but now everyone who’s a hawk fan or maybe about half just have to have a 3pt shooting center. When the playoffs come around you want a guy like Drummond. You need someone that’s gon get messy with embiid, Gasol, Giannis at the rim. You want that size he has ...you not worried about that damn 3 ball cause it’s harder to make shots in the playoffs anyways! Defenses get tighter and refs allow more physicality. We will have change up the scheme slightly with Drummond added but that’s not really a big deal. adding Drummond should allow our wings to play way closer to their opponents and for Collins to roam more for help defensive purposes cause he know Drummond got the goal locked down. More rebounds equal less fast break points. More offensive rebounds equal second chances for ice trae to reset the team or get another shot. Drummond adds a good amount of value that’s taken for granted and for the record he’s no slower than Marc Gasol actually faster .
  10. I don’t know if it’s true but I read somewhere it’s not only Resseler mad about where the hawks are at this point nor is it just Trae but also SCHLENK....now if that’s true that’s a huge huge surprise to many. i am not at all surprised if the hawks have been monitoring Drummond this whole time. Who knows it may just not be Resseler who wants Drummond like some may think , it could also be Schlenk. we can’t act like Schlenk has been completely truthful in all his interviews. He normally doesn’t let any thing slip . I also remember him saying that the way they did things in GS was ALWAYS by committee including the whole front office plus owner and Schlenk said that if a close decision comes down to a specific player then theyll roll with the majority and live with it....I believe that’s what happened between Doncic and Trae. The decision was split on those two cause they had them both damn near even on their draft board...maybe there’s a split decision going on with Drummond since they’ve monitored him this long....we just will never truly know
  11. Woj is normally not wrong but I’m not sure I believe the Brooklyn pick us really on the table !....if it was that deal would be done right now. something is up! Either it really is on the table but ONLY if Drummond commits to opting into next season guaranteed OR the actual deal is centered around expiring contracts and 2nd rd picks for Drummond and Snell giving Detroit a good amount of cap space for this off season. i dunno but all I know is I have beliefs the Brooklyn pick is really not on the table.
  12. I have a feeling that the hawks won’t get him so everyone can stop worrying now
  13. I don’t agree with that...see that’s what I don’t understand about the new era . Players are not vets in years 3 or 4....those are guys are still developing in those years. They may not show any kind of real potential until year 3 or 4...look at Oladipo, look at Bam, look at Giannis, look at Sabonis. i don’t think by years 3 and 4 trae, Collins, huerter can be considered real established vets to be in the ear of new younger guys coming in telling them how to win in this league. So we’ll have to agree to disagree on this one.
  14. Well you don’t judge a pick based on a rookie year alone lol...especially not an extra top 10 lottery pick like cam. There were no secrets cam was drafted as a project and hunter as a rookie that’s nba ready...then you look at Bruno and that’s another project too. schlenk won’t truly be judged on these picks until after these players complete their 3rd seasons
  15. Right... I don’t know if this matters as much as long as we have the Flexible cap space . I know you’re Going to say well why not just wait to sign him over the summer and I think you don’t wait because teams like the Celtics and raptors will build great chemistry to where they’ll just resign him if they trade for him and he does well. if all we are losing is another 1st rd pick I’m good with going after Drummond
  16. Well I don’t think that’s why they are considering trading the pick lol Schlenk draft decisions as of right now are fine. Trae and Collins were great decisions and we have to play the wait and see game for the others but back to the Brooklyn pick being available. I believe that Brooklyn pick is being moved due to no need of having a roster full of developing players and no already established players. We literally have 6 young players in Trae, Collins, Huerter, Cam, Hunter, Fernando all needing to continue development and will likely face some tough mountains to climb over as they develop. then you add our pick from this years draft coming up and that’s 7 players that will likely all be apart of the “young core” It’s too much to add two more young players aka young projects to this already extremely young team .
  17. A team he promised would be competitive on a nightly basis at that.
  18. Ain’t gon lie ....I’m happy about Resseler speeding things up cause to me even though folks don’t typically like it when ownership gets involved that keeps good pressure on the front office to not go down a philly, twolves, suns like rebuild! To me those are trash rebuild plans ....but then again for every reason @JayBirdHawk is probably thinking this could be bad thing all at the same time when ownership gets involved! Like jerry Jones bad but Resseler ain’t there.... yet anyways then on top of all that I’m a bit ignorant ok ...I’m a little flattered that we have a owner who wants big name players here. I understand that every owner wants that but it’s different when you start putting your foot down! so I’m kinda like go Resseler that’s what the “F” I’m talking about but then I’m like hold up mofo what you doin? Don’t you “F” this up! Lol
  19. I hate when we have to play in the garden ! Something weird always seem to happen
  20. Where did you hear this or do you have connections of your own?
