  1. There is a reason Houston traded Capela, reason was playoff performance. FT shooting and defense not as good as expected, he felt the wear. There is no reason to trade him, he is top 5 C on the east but he needs some help on certain matchups. Okongwu is a very similar in size, we need a big center to provide defense against big C.

Best fit is probably Dieng but I would also like Whiteside, McGee, Noel…

I think that we can all agree that more veteran depth could be in order for the offseason. I was planning on saving this until later but since I was still up after prepping my meats to grill in the morning, well...

Dunn has a player option next year but I wouldn't be surprised to see him return since there will be no Rondo or (likely) Lou Williams to fight over minutes with. Besides, who would be offering him more $$$ to start in light of this past season? And if he's not starting anywhere else, why in the hell would he leave to play on a lesser team? That being said, I would still pursue a backup PG.

And yes, they do need a bruising big somewhere (hell, ANYWHERE). While Capela, Collins, Gwu-Tang, even Gallinari did their best to hold the fort, would it be in their best interest to explore a better option than Bruno at this point? I'd lean towards keeping Knight though; something tells me that he has some hidden talent. Speaking of which...

The wing position is a very strong one when healthy. Between Bogdanovic, Hunter, Reddish, and Huerter, I see no one else getting any serious airtime on that station. And if Reddish keeps on coming, oh man.

Folks, what we shouldn't be doing is discussing moves to just beat the Bulls, Horcats, or Pistons on a random Tuesday night in January. Every move from this point forward should be made with not only hanging 52-60 wins but contending for the title as well. Getting a better backup PG along with some help to deal with much bigger guys, like Embiid, Lopez, Ayton, et al on the boards and in the post should be their top priorities on the roster.

Exactly, we need answers for some players we could not stop. We need a defensive big and a backup PG. Best options in my mind are McConnell and Cameron Payne and Dieng, Whiteside, Noel, Holmes and McGee. We also need some defense on he wing, I really like Bullock. And we still have a draft pick where we can choose a good Guard like Springer, Mann, Cameron Thomas… a scorer off the bench

  3. I think we are going to be on a great position to add Guard help.

Some guy might slip to our position.

For PG help I would be happy with any of Davion Mitchell, Jaden Springer, Tre Mann or Ayo Dosunmu. I really think Mitchell can slip. They can be good backups for Trae.

SG I think we could look for Josh Christopher, Trey Murphy or Cameron Thomas. Murphy has intriguing length while Thomas and Christopher are scoring guards off the bench.

Another help we could use is a backup PF or C. Kai Jones is really really intriguing and I would definitely push the button if he is there. Backup PF with length, good defensive instincts and can shoot the 3. Reminds me Christian Wood. I think we really need a player like this.

Greg Brown or Dayron Sharpe could be good additions but I really think we can get them on 2nd round, consolation prize might be Petrusev.

Overall I think from 12 pick onwards things are pretty open, you can find prospects ranked from 18 to 40 randomly. Even some guys that you could think are a lock for top 18 could slip to 20 like Davion Mitchell, Kai Jones or Giddey. If that happens we should go BPA, if not you still have some decent options for backup guard that we could use.

  4. Considering how Young we are, our injuries and some holes we have at the rotation I think is nearly impossible to win this series. However I need this team to at least win 2 games on this series, I really need It. We need the best versions of Bogi and Collins today. We are building something special, perhaps is not our time yet but we need to show improvement, toughness and potencial, we need to show we belong to the finals and with some adjustments we can really be a contender next season. Show me.

  5. I think Schlenck has the golden opportunity to build a contender this offseason with very little investment.

He can fix a 13 man rotation that now is

    Young/?/?

    Bogi/Huerter

    Hunter/?/Reddish

    Collins/Gallo

    Capela/?/Okongwu

Backup PG, a wing and a backup big C, that is what we need.

If Schlenck thinks he can fill one of these holes on draft day, that is good but definately backup PG and backup C should be FAs.

In my opinion if we add players like Cameron Payne, Dwinddidie, Rose, Mcconnell, Bullock, Ennis, Craig, Holmes, Dieng, Whiteside, Noel, López, Mcgee we can really go for the ring Next year, with the likely improvement if Young, Huerter, Hunter, Collins and mainly Reddish and Okongwu... We can really compete to win.

  6. Well, very little can be said about this quarter, just the best half I have seen in a while against the 2nd best defense of the league.

Very difficult we can maintain this percentages on the 2nd half, Phily is shooting well also, we need to tight the defense a little. Throw some bodies at Embiid and don’t let them run that is their best offense
