  1. According to Yahoo! Sports, the Clippers put down a bid for Billups in the amnesty waiver process. Will Chauncey retire, or join the rotation? ~lw3
  2. I wouldn't rule out Philly either, finally with a steady roster and coaching staff, despite no splashy new free agent additions so far. Their percentage record will be better than it was last year when they stumbled out of the gate (3-13, finished at 41-41). Evan Turner, Jrue Holiday, and Thad Young will continue to grow on a team that scared the Eastern Conference champs a couple times in the first round. ~lw3
  3. Welp, The League killed off another trade. Who's next? ~lw3
  4. Maybe still hope for Jamal in Naptown (Posey was just amnestied).~lw3
  5. Another door closes? (Indy trades for OJ Mayo) New Orleans is trying to swing Eric Gordon out of the CP3 deal, while Chicago seems enamored with Richard Hamilton and the Knicks can't find a deal they like. Crawford has to be feeling like the guy still standing after a game of musical chairs.~lw3
  6. I'm guessing he winds up back in the East Bay. The W's just amnestied Charlie "Lush" Bell, and he can backup Stephen without being any threat whatsoever to Curry's starting spot. If he ever finds his shot, he could back up Monta, but they don't need him for that right now. ~lw3

    Bibby.......

Then if they start out losing every night 145-134 and 'Antoni gets canned, guess who takes over as the interim? "Switch, Bibby, Switch!" ~lw3
  8. "If you're happy with your bigs and you know it clap your hands..." (one bald man claps) ~lw3
  9. Happy it's Indy and not Boston, but I think Indy would love to get Craw to finish off the roster. Assuming they can't sign him outright anymore, could we use Craw to spring free Hansbrough? ~lw3
  10. LRMAM is back in Beertown too, as the Bucks matched Denver's RFA offer. ~lw3
  11. http://www.latimes.com/sports/basketball/nba/lakers/la-sp-1211-lakers-lamar-odom-20111211,0,3682409.story Odom for a 1st rounder and a TPE. Wasn't Cuban one of the ones who blocked Odom from going to his division rival Hornets? That's a WWE script right there. ~lw3
  12. It's hypothetical of course BUT... ((pulls lever)) ~lw3
  13. ^LOL that says a lot... about B-Lo... ~lw3
  14. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=ArLojS1X_ZKudzGdNct4Rxu8vLYF?slug=ys-nba_free_agent_buzz_121011 JJ Redick as a full-time starter? C'mon. No way that was gonna happen. ~lw3
  15. Training camp invite in Motown for D-Wil. ~lw3
  16. Hoping the only role Gil plays in Atlanta anytime soon is "Character Witness." ~lw3
  17. I still can't find that "Todd Day" stat from the other day, but from NBA.com's StatsCube... http://www.nba.com/news/features/john_schuhmann/statscube-preview-2011-ORL/index.html I can't imagine seeing Smoove with the rock at the perimeter and screaming "nooooo!" at him, only to see him dish the ball over to Gil and having me screaming "NOOOOO!" ~lw3
  18. Still nahthankyou for me. Where would signing him put them LT-wise? ~lw3
  19. Oh well, it's a rap as far as Gray's concerned... or rather, HE'S a Rap now. http://www.slamonline.com/online/nba/2011/12/aaron-gray-signs-one-year-deal-with-toronto-raptors/ ~lw3
  20. Not quite. H-Town is still working to pair him up with Gasol (or whatever they're about to get via CP3gate). ~lw3
  21. New CP3 deal in the works, submitted to the league office for ring-kissing and approval, same 3 teams. Bellyachers, start your engines! ~lw3
  22. Any takers for Aaron Gray? Still reasonably young (just turned 26), and decent size as a 7-footer, although he's decidedly not a shotblocker or a great defender. But if it's better rebounding we want, among players with more than 10 MPG, he's one of just six players (Camby, Love, R. Evans, Z-Bo, Joey Dorsey) in the Top 20 of the league for both Offensive and Defensive Rebounding Rate. ~lw3
  23. Throw in the recent star of Lil B's rap lyrics, James Posey, to the Country for Released Old Men. He's 35 next month and about to get waived by the Pacers. ~lw3
  24. MC @ajchawks tweeted last night about "3-4 Months" for Kirk, which would be more akin to what Walter mentioned above. I assume MC meant 3-4 Months from early November surgery, not 3-4 more months from now. ~lw3
