I can see a three team scenario where John, Clint and picks go out, Ayton and Simmons come back, KD goes to Phoenix along with Clint and Donovan Mitchel and John Collins ends up in Brooklyn with picks.

It also verifies they are on the phone with each other and have a good relationship. Perhaps a prelude to Ayton or we can help them facilitate a KD deal and come away with an asset out of it.

I think the salary counts now, unless someone offers him a deal and we don’t match but it gives us additional roster flexibility for the 15 man roster throughout the season.

I think it is crucial for these guys to get minutes and develop even if we are competing for a chip. Especially since we have traded away multiple first rounders. It is important that the roster have guys on rookie deals that play well so they team will always have some financial balance. Plus I think they are really good players.

My vote is mostly about OO17. I like OO17 and Ayton starting better than any other combination.

Love Gallo. He was probably our best free agent signing given that he played a prominent role in our best season ever and then left and facilitated potentially our best acquisition in recent years. He did everything you could ask for in the time he was here. Salute to you Gallo! maybe he is back this season? -
