  1. Ahh yes, the sun is shining and the birds are chirping. Today is a beautiful day indeed.
  2. Hawks fan. Joe Johnson fan. I don't understand why one doesn't go hand-in-hand with the other.
  3. Don't forget about Jerry Stackhouse either. He's lit us up quite well in every game this year.
  4. Lol and yet another thread. I know, I know, it's exciting stuff.
  5. Damnit...Beat me to the punch :computer2:
  6. Which most likely means hellooo Milwaukee. Now the only question becomes...do we now rest our starters (and Craw) in tomorrow's meaningless game? With Cleveland most likely doing the same thing, I'm guessing Craigslist and Ebay are gonna be loaded with unwanted tickets.

    50!

*pops champagne* No, not our ultimate goal, but a hell of a milestone to say the least.
  9. In a related story, Chris Bosh will not play tonight. Even so, this won't be a cakewalk as the Raps are fighting for their playoff lives.
  10. I'd say the slow start had just as much to do with Bibby being out as Joe being out. I can't tell you how many games I've seen this season that Bibby comes out smokin' in the 1st and I think he's gonna explode for a big game only to see him wind up on the bench for the rest of the game. This might be the last game I ever expect to see something out of Marvin. I thought...Joe & Bibby out, back in North Carolina...he's gotta have at least a decent game right? It's like he's scared to even touch the ball offensively. He lolli-gags around the 3-point line, defers wide-open jump shots, and rarely even cuts to the basket anymore. And people are scared that sending him to the bench would crush his confidence? What confidence?
  11. In the crummy Eastern Conference? I'd say still in the playoffs.
  12. I didn't make that up. I remember reading that on InsideHoops earlier this season. And I remembered the "Start Mo over Marvin" threads from last year using our record with Mo as the focus so I assumed that was the correct record.
  13. Hawks were 12-1 last year when Mo started in place of Marvin. Can anybody besides MVP tell me why not?
  14. http://www.nba.com/2010/news/04/05/sportsmanship.division/index.html?ls=iref:nbahpt2 Congrats Big Al!
  15. What? Barry always bad mouths us so I don't see him being a squawker--unless of course...Hotlanta is that you?
  16. Yes, let's just disregard everybody else on our team. We're going to the playoffs because we drafted Marvin frickin' Williams. And let's also disregard the fact the CP3 has been injured for most of the season and is still playing hurt right now. The fact of the matter is getting to the playoffs shouldn't be good enough. You draft right and most of us are talking championship right about now.
  17. That should be what Woody is telling the boys too. But if past years are any indication, he's telling the locker room that our "ultimate goal" this year is to get out of the 2nd round. :stop:
  18. The whole arena already screams "Noooooo" before he even starts thinking about taking a jumper. Of course that doesn't stop him one bit. Do we admire his confidence or pity his stupidity?
  19. Why we boo the holy hell out of Lebron and D-Wade, but cheer Kobe I'll never understand. With that said, I've been watching the Lakers all season long and they really do have a Steelers type following all over the country. So it's really not just us. Only thing is...we take it to another level with the "Kobe" and "MVP" chants. :slap1:
  20. I'll go with Pearl Jam...errr I mean Mookie Blaylock.
  21. Woody and Marvin would be suicidal if they did.
  22. Just came home from the game, hype as hell to see the highlight, and what do I see? ESPN says none of it should of counted because Joe traveled on the last play. Are you kidding me? They even froze it up step-by-step with a counter on each of his steps. Then the anchor proceeded make it even look worse by going "There's 1 step, 2, 3, 4, 5, well you get the idea." But when Lebron take 8 steps on his crab-dribble all we can do is "witness." Was it a walk? Maybe by current NBA "rules", but it's not something that the stars don't get away with on a nightly basis. ...Ahhhh, they just played it again and Scott Van Pelt called it "19 steps" this time.
  23. lmao! I don't know wtf that was, but it was hilarious nonetheless.
  24. To foul or not to foul was debateable, but it definitely worked out in our favor. Craw made the right choice goin to Smoove too. Wilson Chandler just made a great play on the block. It shouldn't have come down to that though. We settled for way too many dumbass jumpshots in the last two minutes.
