  1. I would add Semih Erden to the Center list. I don't think that he's a starter, but I've read that he's interested in coming back to the US. Seems like a guy Ferry might add depending on cost.
  2. I would love to add Gerald Henderson. Seems like a perfect guy. But I don't think Ferry is gonna overpay for anyone and that's what it would take to pry him away from Charlotte I think.
  3. I think Jeff's feeling the Restricted Free Agent squeeze. Ferry has no choice but to play some hard ball with him. Teague is probably worth 8-9 a year, but Ferry has no reason to rush offer it. None of these other teams are going to give him a 10+ contract, so anything in 8-9 range I assume we just match. But that offer isn't fast coming because there aren't that many teams that need a PG right now. Detroit/Milwaukee to name a couple, but I don't know how much Cap they have. And keep in mind Jennings is still running around too.So unless Teague is so upset at delay that he chooses to sign the QO and play at 6, I bet Ferry eventually gives hims an offer in the 8-9 range.
  4. I love Milsap. So ok with the signing. Horford at 5 and Milsap at 4 when we small ball, I guess. But I still expect a starting Center so Al can start at 4. But the idea of Milsap being bench is the confusing part. Especially at 8.5 a year.
  5. Hahaha. With the 94th Pick, MrNique selects: DIRK NOWITZKI, PF Tempted to go younger here, but I feel like I should add someone with a ring. Long have I been a fan of the tall shooting German. The year he went off and won his ring was one of the great playoff runs. I add some shooting to that stretch 4 spot and although he is not a great defender, I got enough D around him to hide him a little. I think he has 1-2 years left.PG - Jeff TeagueSG - Andre IguodolaSF - Paul GeorgePF - Dirk NowitzkiC - Joakim Noah - Omer AsikGonna be a long wait until next picks, because the next few guys on my list are sure to be gone.
  6. Hey I'm quick too! Haha.Add me as someone thattook a long look at Derozan as my 6th man before deciding on Asik. Good value here. I don't love his game but kid still has some upside I think.
  7. With the 87th Pick, MrNique selects: OMER ASIK, C Reuniting the 1-2 punch of Noah/Asik. Dude is another elite rebounder with excellent work ethic and ability to maximize his talents. One of the best defensive Centers in the league, I feel.My team:PG - Jeff TeagueSG - Andre IguodolaSF - Paul GeorgePF - C - Joakim Noah - Omer Asik
  8. I was really hoping that Ryan Anderson would fall. Jaybird keeps "stealing" my picks!Tobias good pick as well. He was on my short list for a 6th man. Young and really came on offensively down the stretch. Curious to see what he does with a full year at starter. My pick, momentarily.
  9. So to sum up SKIPPED picks. We have two jy23 picks that were Skipped while he is on surprise Honeymoon. Is he being replaced? Or he just catches up?And AHF has a pick skipped while he is on vacation as well?
  10. I don't know that we really needed him either, but my guess he would have been brought in to help implement Bud's system more than anything. But yeah, if we bring back Teague and bring the Rook over we already have 5 guards.PG - Teague, ShroederSG - Korver, Lou, JenkinsPlus, I think Lou is going to be used as our Ginobli anyway.
  11. I'm happy just for my 2k14 games. He's a beast running around out there.Seriously, more and more it just doesn't look like a tank job. Could still happen, but why pay Korver if we are gonna tank?
  12. I shouldn't want to read the latest Schultz article, but I do. Can anyone paste that has access?http://www.myajc.com/news/sports/hawks-may-be-building-for-2014-not-now/nYcFC/?icmp=ajc_internallink_invitationbox_apr2013_ajcstubtomyajcpremium
  13. Wasn't the last pick after 10 EST? Don't they get until 3 EST then?
  14. I agree. I'd prefer him to be honest as far as overall game, so I think it worked out.
  15. I agree about Favors. His playing time should take a meaningful bump with the expected departure of Al and Milsap.
  16. I PMed Capstone again at 8:51 EST. So by my count he has until 1:51 EST tomorrow to make his picks.
  17. Nice Beal pick. It was down to him and Iggy on my last pick.I said I wouldn't go Homer unless it made sense. I think it finally does. With the 58th Pick, MrNique selects:JEFF TEAGUE, PGYoung PG headed into his second contract, routinely outplays some of his contemporaries in Jrue and Jennings. After being stunted the first couple of years, finally improving up to 14 and 7 this past year. Will he ever be an AllStar? Maybe not, but a solid and improving PG. If Hawks keep him, which I expect unless someone tosses big money at him, excited to see what Bud can do for him. A system where the PF (not Josh) gives the PG the rock on the fast break. My team:G Jeff TeagueG Andre IguodolaF Paul GeorgeFC Joakim Noah
  18. No, I think we have to give him his 8 hours. Those are the rules, right? He was so excited about it this past week for his first two picks, it just seems weird. I'm wondering if he even knows its going on the weekend.
  19. Ok, then with the #51st Pick, MrNique selects: ANDRE IGUODOLA SG/SF The talent just too good to pass up here, even though I don't completely need him. Jack-of-all-Trades, solid slasher, good in the open court, good teammate, great defender, high talent glue guy. OLYMPIAN. I wish he shot a bit better, but we'll take the rest of the package. My Team: PG - SG/SF - Andre Iguodola SF/SG - Paul George PF - C - Joakim Noah Since both Iggy and George have been known to play the 2 at times, I figure they can work it out depending on matchups. Good defensive team so far.
  20. It's my first year drafting so I didn't want to be a d**k. I was running errands so he got some extra time. Finishing late lunch and then I'll go ahead and make my pick at 5 EST.
