  1. I don't think it would make sense to have Josh, Al and Dwight even if we could. In this Fantasy scenario where we get Paul you would still swing Josh or All for am elite wing say Harden. Cant play three bugs in two spots.
  2. I'm excited for Jenkins to win a 3 point contest, but no, he's not a starter.
  3. Yeah, we are without a SF right now. I would say actual depth chart looks more like this right now:Jeff Teague - Devin Harris - Jordan FarmarAnthony Morrow - Deshawn Stevenson - John Jenkins?Josh Smith - Ivan Johnson - Mike Scott & Jordan Williams Al Horford - Zaza Pachulia - Johan PetroBut I don't think this is anywhere near done to be honest. There are still Free Agents to be had and maybe more trades to be done.
  4. Marshon Brooks best all around game of the year highlights
  5. http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/story/_/id/8119934/brooklyn-nets-atlanta-hawks-talk-joe-johnson-trade-sources-sayGod bless Ferry for at least being smart enough to demand Brooks.
  6. Ray Allen“@Chris_Broussard: Miami can pay $3 mill/yr. ATL, Dallas and Los Angeles Clippers also interested in Ray Allen.”Rashard Lewis“@SpearsNBAYahoo: Expect Heat, Celtics, Lakers, Hawks and Knicks to have interest in free agent Rashard Lewis once he clears waivers, source tells Y!”Brandon Bass“@SpearsNBAYahoo: While Celtics free agent Brandon Bass interested in re-signing, Pacers, Nets, Mavs, Heat (sign and trade), Knicks and Hawks intrigued too.”
  7. In that case I will take Morrow from Brooklyn too. Might need those shooters around Dwight.
  8. I would just HOPE that Brooks is involved. Dude can score. My worry would be all we get back is scraps like Morrow, Petron and Farmar (though we could use the backup PG). But still, I'd almost do it. For Brooklyn the end game must be something like Deron, Joe, Wallace, PF, Lopez because it would be kissing Dwight goodbye. (I also don't think they could afford to bring back all three of Wallace, Hump and Lopez that's why I left Hump out.)Fantasy: It'd be rad if we got back Wallace kind of cheap with Brooks. But let's be honest, since this is a salary dump we can't expect anything great back. But one can dream: Teague, Brooks, Wallace, Josh and Al. I like it for now. Until the Josh end game plays out.
  9. If they are that far under the cap, which they are, they can do a deal like that. But something tells me that more might be involved. A S&T of Wallace, Humphries or Lopez back to us a possibility.
  10. I think Hawes is the one I'd be most interested in as well.
  11. I feel like Ferry might just play the odds with this guy. Is he really worth any more than the minimum? Why lock up a million on our already frustrated books.Dont get me wrong. I loved Ivan's attitude, his fire and his willingness to call some lazy vets out. But with his age, history and production I just don't see him being worth more than the minimum. We'd just get him back at that. No way Ferry locks up a million.
  12. It's because of these reasons. And he is basically the poster boy for the type of guys Ferry wants here. I would say unless a great deal came along, Ferry is building around this guy.
  13. Listen, if Ferry moves Joe it would be stunning. Just don't think he's movable.More likely this would be toTeagueBealJoeAl or Josh (whomever wasn't in the trade)Zaza
  14. The Telegraph really lays it out weird. It's below and to the right of the ad. So at first you only see the one, but it is there. It's also a good interview, Amico was really high on us getting him.All three interviews were great, if old news now that we are full blown into the Rumor Stage heading into Thursday. Nervous but excited. Thanks Dolfan.
  15. Finally got to a comp. That second link that Bill linked to does indeed have two interviews. I just listened to the other one. Two Links, Three Interviews.
  16. Since I can't see the OG audio maybe I'm confused...The first link has an interview with Danny which I heard based on your link. The second link has an interview with Sam Amico and Jason Walker. Your link only has Jason Walker on it. I assumed that there was a third link somewhere in there with Sam? Am I wrong? Thanks one more time. It's a big help for those of us on the iPad.
  17. Hey Dolfan, can you give a direct link to the Sam Amico interview too from the second link? Thanks.
  18. Yeah, add me to the list of people that thinks starting Collins would put us at a disadvantage. Both Bass/Garnett shoot that mid-range too well and Collins would be a liability. Remember, Zaza was having a bit of trouble guarding Bass at the end of that overtime game.So that leaves it between Marvin or Ivan and whose energy you still want coming off the bench. I'm leaning towards leaving Ivan on the bench right now, but Drew should be ready to adjust. Marvin could be hard for Bass to guard too, remember that. And we've seen in the past that Marvin can rebound when he puts his mind to it which we would need. Gonna be a small series since Garnett/Smith was the natural 4 matchup before and might end up being the starting 5s.Related -- what are the odds that Ivan and Garnett get into a fight before this series is out?
  19. I would take Nash if I thought he was going to stay, but that's not worth it. Rondo I would consider, but a straight deal doesn't work either. Leaves both teams needing to make at least another deal. But if we kept it just the two of us, maybe something like this: Rondo, Garnett for Teague, Smith, Marvin, Hinrich http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=756ux2x Not sure if any picks would need to be included. Boston would get a lot younger, but they'd still have their Center problem. We'd shed some major salary with Garnett's 21 this year and we'd still be competitive. We'd maybe have to start the following for a run this year: Rondo/Pargo Joe/Willie Vlad/McGrady Garnett/Ivan Zaza/Dampier or Collins or Horford whoever is healthy But we'd be getting older this year, so if we had to include picks too, that wouldn't make it a good deal anymore. We'd only have Rondo, Joe, Zaza and Al under contract going into next year and that's already something like $46 million on the books. And we'd have to replace our starting PF assuming Garnett is done/left. Sorry, went way into fantasy land there for a second. But I'm definitely interested in Rondo.
  20. Fesenko's knee must be really bad that he keeps getting passed over.
  21. That was kind of my thought too niremetal. I just assumed we were losing Crawford for nothing, so I like the idea of bringing in the guard depth for nothing. Especially with Hinrich gone for what could be half the season.
  22. Alex Kennedy had this rumor today here: http://www.hoopsworld.com/nba-am-hornets-ready-to-deal-chris-paul/ • Jamal Crawford has a long list of teams hoping to sign him, but his preference would be a sign-and-trade to the Chicago Bulls, according to sources close to the situation. The Bulls have been in contact with Crawford’s camp in recent days and will try to acquire him by offering the Atlanta Hawks a package that includes Ronnie Brewer and one unnamed player. If Chicago can’t land Crawford, the veteran will likely sign with the New Orleans Hornets, Indiana Pacers, New Jersey Nets or Minnesota Timberwolves. Who could the other guy be? CJ Watson? Obviously we go into tax if we make a deal lIke this. Would it be worth it for some solid depth or would people prefer an impact player?
  23. As a Hawks fan in Hollywood, who came home today to a Pizza Loca ad on his gate, I feel like I should start supporting. Hahaha.Seriously, too bad that this didn't happen earlier so we could have had a chance at getting Pritchard in here before he took a job with Indy.Anyway, hopefully good news. I hope this means good things for the team's future, but with the damn lockout we could be some many months before we see any real moves.
  24. I'm not advocating Ellis for Smith, because I just don't know that I like the deal. But I just wanted to say, that although Ellis is not a defensive stopper and he is small, he is always among the league leaders (last year, right behind Paul/Rondo, ahead of Westbrook/Allen) in steals. He gets his hands on balls and creates fast break opportunities.
