  1. Atlanta receives G.Monroe/McLemore Sac receives Smoove/John Jenkins/Atlanta'a 2nd round pick Det recieves Horford/Scott What if Horford has let it be known that he wants to play PF or else. That could explain Ferry's movements as of late(selecting Payne/ unloading cap space. As good as Milsaps play has been, it would be hard to kick him to the curb for a guy who has played a small amount of PF in the league and coming off multiple freak injuries. Detroit really wants to dump Smooves salary while still being able to have a good frontcourt piece. they covet Monroe, but would love Horford who would be able to play his preferred position at PF. Monroe would be a starting center on most teams, but Drummond made that impossible for him in DET. He is a crafty post player, solid rebounder, and is a good passer. His game is taylor made for our system and could be an 18pt 10 reb guy at the Center position. Sac has shown alot of interest in Smith and would love to see a Gay/Smith/Cousins front court. Nick Stauskas being taken so early leads me to believe that he McLemore wouldn't be a starter next season. J.Terry/J.Jenkins would fill out the depth fine. McClemore is another guy that could take off in the right system and be a legit contributor in a couple seasons Mike scott is developing into a solid player, but with the addition of Payne and Ferry's desire to get a Wing in FA has me thinking he ends up being a trade piece. Then we could offer Parsons a contract that would make it difficult for them to match(11-13mil) Atlanta Teague/Schröder/Mack Korver/McClemore/Patterson Parsons/DMC/Patterson Milsap/Payne/Muscalla Monroe/Antić/Payne Sac I.Thomas/McCallum Stauskas/J.Terry/J.Jenkins Gay/D.Williams/Outlaw Smoove/Landry/Evans Cousins/Thompson Detroit Knight/Bynum/Siva Pope/Singler FA/Scott/Datome Horford/Vilanueva/Jarekbo Drummond/J.Heralson
  2. If we were able to get NO's 1st I would have to think about it. Its a solid possibility that NO will continue to struggle in the west, even with Anthony Davis balling out. New Jersey has the potential to suck very badly with Pierce/KG combo getting old and D.Williams unable to fit with the team. That leaves Iso Joe and Mr. Glass Lopez to round out the team. We could be in a situation that could land us 2 top 15 picks next year.
  3. I agree about Mack as long as a team doesnt try to overpay for him. If that happens, I have a feeling that Jenkins will be better than many think on this roster coming off the bench (pending his back recovery)
  4. Thadeus Young=9.410m in 2014-2015 Lou Williams-5.4m in 2014-2015(expiring Mike Scott- As a RFA he would have to have a S&T at 4 mill per
  5. Send Lou and Mike Scott by way of S&T for Thadeus Young. Plays good defense, and can get to the rack whenever he needs to. Can hit the corner 3 with regularity as well We roll the dice and sign Lance Stephensen. His question marks will drop his price so we take advantage and sign him to a 3yr deal with a team option on the 4th at 9-9.5 per. He can create his own shot, pass, defend, he just has to behave. Teague/Schrodder Stephensen/Korver/Jenkins Young/DMC Millsap/Payne/Muscalla Horford/Antić/Bebe We would have drasticly improved offensively and defensively
  6. I think lou/Scott would be a nice deal. Richardson isnt really viewed as 1st or 2nd option in philly. Scott would most likely split tome with McDaniel at SF and play some at PF behind Noel. Their are no names at SG to speak of and im confident that lou would be looked at as the starter or integral contributor. Payne looks to be an upgrade over over scott anyway. T. Youngs salary is in the 8mil area, so. Lou's 5.??m and Scott in a sign and trade for 3-4 mil would look to pleade Philly.
  7. He is clearly unhappy, and wants out. He will opt out after 14-15 season in philly any way. Since their objective is sucking for the future, lets help them out and solidify our forward spot. Lou Williams/Muscalla/Nets 2nd in 2015. Teague/Schrodder Korver/FA/Jenkins T.Young/DMC/Scott Millsap/Payne//Scott Horford/Antić/Bebe
  8. If some how we found a way to 1. S&T Sap/Lou for Melo 2. Trade Teague for the TPE in order to Sign LBJ outright. Find a way to bring Patty Mills with one if our exceptions and draft Adreian Payne & 15. PG:Mills/Dennis SG:Korver/Jenkins SF:Bron/DMC PF:Melo/Payne C:Horford/Antić
  9. I think so. While Parker and Wiggins are going to be solid players, I figure a big would be more important for their team at this time. Waiters just started coming into his own and grabbing a wing could cause some issues on an already immature team. What they need is a sure leader and Horford would be that guy to take the lead while filling a need they have truly lacked in the front court.
  10. If Smart is already off the board, I would pick LaVine at #8 and keep Jack at PG. I know LaVine is a but raw, but his stroke and abilty to score in transition on day 1 will make him well worth the selection at 8. Even if it takes 2 or so seasons for him to realize his full potential. I chose Smart initially because of his fire, ability to get to the rack, defensive abilities, but LaVine was a close second with his Westbrook like potential at SG.
  11. I love the sarcasm:/ Cle has shown intereat in Horford and their #1 target has too much ish going on with him. I feel like this is more realistic than most. Sac has wanted Teague for a while. They would much rather have him than resign I. thomas. Lou isnt exactly the greatest player, but he can get you buckets off the bench. They want vet contributors and we give them guys at position of need. Smart has been mocked in the 7-8 area, so I dont see him as a stretch at 8
  12. FA: Greg Monroe 5yr 60 mil (12 per) Trade Horford and #15 to Cle for # 1 and Jarred Jack. With emblids foot broken. I think they would be more inclined to grab Horford who would compliment Irving so well. Cle realized that Irving is far better at the point putting recently signed Jack in an awkward position. Welll... We help Jack out and plug him in at point while Dennis continues to mature. Trade Teague/Lou for #8 and Derrick Williams I.Thomas is their only PG and he is a UFA. McClemore has nobody behind him Williams is a solid stretch 4 but will most likely take a backseat to R.Gay at SF and Landry at PF The move with The Cavs free up 6mil The move with the kings free up about 8mil That additional 14 mil in cap space to add to what we had already allows us to comfortably sign Monroe and have cap flexibility for 2015. With the 1st pick the Hawks select Jabari Parker With the 8th pick the Hawks select Marcus Smart PG:Jack/Schroedder SG:Smart/Korver/Jenkins SF:Parker/DMC/Williams PF:Milsap/Williams/Muscalla C: Monroe/Antić/Bebe I really love the look of this team in Buds system. Both Jack and smart can create their own shot as well as facillitate. We would have 2 go-to scorers in Millsap and Parker that we should be able to rely on in the clutch. Smart could be that guy as well. Both Sap and Monroe have good post play and above average passing skills. While Monroe might not have the shooting range of Sap, he can still knock down that 15 footer with regularity As much as I loved Korver and DMC as starters last season, they would be so much more effective off the bench with D.Williams/Schroedder and Antić Starting 5 projection Jack 12 pts 6 ast Smart: 14 pts 5 reb 5ast Parker: 18pts 6reb 3 ast Milsap: 18 pts 8reb 4 reb Monroe:16pts 10reb
  13. Emblid has a broken foot making the possibilty of Horford to Cleveland more likely. Id make that deal for Parker then try to get the 8th pick and hope Emblid falls due to injury concerns.
  14. FA: Gordan Hayward G/F 5yr 55 mil Jordan Hill PF(MLE) Trade #15 to NY for Shumpert and 2015 2nd round pick- He is a good defender who can play the 2 or 3. Trade Schroedder, Lou Williams to Sac for #8. Sac is in need of a deeper backfield. I. Thomas is their only PG and he is a UFA. McLemore has nobody behind him at SG(J.Cunningham doesnt count).lol. We trade the 8th pick to PHX for 18 and 27. The hawks select SF Robiinson and PG Tyler Ennis. Robinson would take DMC's spot after his contract is up, and Ennis would be a perfect compliment to Teague. PG:Teague/Ennis/Shumpert SG:Shumpert/Korver/Jenkins SF:Hayward/DMC/Robinson III PF:Milsap/J.Hill/Muscala C:Horford/Antić/Bebe
  15. You are harping on Asik instead of looking at the addition of Parsons who is the key piece of the trade anyway. The only way we could get CP would be taking on Asiks money for 1 season essentially.Asiks money comes off the books in 2015 making us a player in FA again. In the meantime, we have a more than competent big man who would serve as Emblids taining wheels for the 2014 season. He can be replaced in 2015 by someone way cheaper in 2015 whether it be FA or Draft.
  16. At the end of the day Asik is a very good defensive big who can split time with a rookie center. People want to call it a love affair but their is nobody available with his ability as an interior defender and rebounder.
  17. We make the deal with Hou to get our SF of the future essentially. Having Asik for a season would pair well with Emblid as he gets accustomed to the league. In 2015 Asik comes off the book, we extend Parsons, and have money to spare in FA
  18. Trade Lou and Schroedder to SAC for #8 Trade #8 , #15 , and BeBe to Phi for #3 With the #3 pick the Atlanta Hawks select Joel Emblid. I think it will be hard for CLE to pass on Wiggins and Parker is a fit for MIL. On draft night we trade Milsap to Houston for Asik and Parsons With these moves, we essentially get our C and SF of the future while allowing Horford to play at his natural PF spot In FA we sign Avery Bradley and Jordan Hill PG:Teague/Mack SG:Bradley/Korver SF:Parsons/DMC PF:Horford/Hill/Antić C:Asik/Emblid/Antić
  19. ATL sends Paul Milsap/Pero Antić and 2015 1st(Lottery protected). HOU sends Omer Asik and Chandler Parsens
  20. D.Carroll or Mike Scott? I believe Barnes has serious potential to be a good player in the right scheme. I believe Carroll is playing the best ball of his NBA career because of the system Bud has implemented. Although I love Carroll and his intensity, Barnes has the ability to be a 18 pts 6 wing with good defense capability.
  21. Ronnie Brewer Luke Walton James Johnson Devin Ebanks All can be had for low price and and give us some depth at SF
  22. It could be that we are in talks with Houston to acquire the rights to papa, and the deal hinges on if he would agree to terms and leave from overseas.
  23. Moscow has an offer of 4.2 mill over three years and we have offered 4.5 for him to come to the NBA immediately. He is a guy who can come In and contribute good minutes at the 3 if Korver plays the 2 with Jenkins coming off the bench in a 6th man role.PG: Teague/Williams/SchroederSG:Korver/Jenkins/WilliamsSF:DMC/Korver/PapaPF:Millsap/Horford/Scott C:Horford/Brand/Bebe
  24. We might see Korver more at the 3 allowing Jenkins and Lou to split time at the 2.
  25. I love the fact that he is a hometown guy, but I believe he is being overvalued a bit. He has a career avg 11pts 2reb 3 ast. If we could get a legit player who's arrow is pointing up for the future(D.Williams), u go for it. The wolves are looking for offensive punch off the bench to relieve Kevin Martin and we need a F with upside. We could sign Gary to replace Lou for cheaper with little to no dropoff offensively while having a vet who knows the system.
