  1. Im all for leapfrogging if our guy is available. If Towns/Okafor/Russel go in the 1st 3 picks, the knicks, Kings or Nuggets would be the lowest we could get. Schröder would have to be included all deals. Question.... Would u trade Schröder/Korver/Tavarres/both 2nds to PHI if it meant we could snatch a sliding Okafor. If LA doesnt deal #2 to Sac, I could see them grabbing Russell and spend on a talented big in FA Then deal #15 and Mike Scott to Indy for 11 and select Devin Booker
  2. We have to bring in Perry Jones if we can. Give them both 2nd round picks and cash considerations. Dude would be nice in Atlanta at SF.
  3. Wasnt Sacramento very interested in Schröder last offseason? Schröder/Scott/both 2nds/both 1st rounders in 17 to SAC for #6 and Nick Stauskas(We select(SG)Mario Hezonja) We then trade #15 and Korver to DET for #8 (We select (SF) Stanley Johnson Sign Greg Monroe/Jordan Hill/Alade Aminu/Corey Joseph 1st team Teague Hezonja S.Johnson Horford Monroe 2nd team Mack Stauskas Thabo Hill Horford 3rd unit Joseph Baze Aminu Moose Taverres
  4. Dream Trade Schröder/#15/ both 2nd rd picks/Scott/1st in 2016 for #4 in order to select Jahlil Okafor Realistic Schröder/Mike Scott/2nd to DEN for Stanley Johnson Select Bobby Portis at #15
  5. Schröder could net us a top 10 pick for sure. While he still has some more learing to do, he has an uncanny ability to get to the basket and has made a huge jump from year 1 and 2.
  6. I dont see anybody taking on his 15mil,but I could see GS covering a portion of his final year to unload him. I would love to add a big that can give u 18pts 10reb
  7. I think i would have to consider it if we can land the right player.
  8. 12mil is about the most i could give Sap. He developed an outside shot then lost aggressiveness in the post. He tries to move around like a SF but struggles to maintain the level of athleticism through a whole season.
  9. What would it take to make that happen?
  10. I say yes! At #3 Okafor is a real possibility, and Philly already has Emblid/Noel combo. I have a feeling LA will go for Kevin Love to pair with Julius Randle allowing them to take Russell at #2 With Okafor we are able to move Al to PF where he can do more damage. As well as bring Edy over to be our defensive big off the bench. Question becomes What do you give up?: Teague/M.Scott/Muscalla/both 2nd round picks/16 1st/Minny's 1st in "17 Teague: Has so much talent and ability, but lacks the fire and drive to consistently use it in crunch time. After 7 yrs in the league you are who you are going to be. He is stll an allstar and would be a good trade piece. Mike Scott: despite a horrible playoff performance,Scott's ability to score in bunches and play 3&4 would be an attractive piece. Mike Muscalla: Has good size, range. Has the potential to be more than a role player but he is worth moving if Okafor was the end result Trading Teague/Scott/Moose would free up close to 13m putting us at around 39 mil allowing us to fill out the roster as we see fit. 1st: Devin Booker FA: Demarre Caroll SF 4yr 40m Jeremy Lin PG 3yr 16m Danny Green 4yr 36m Ed Davis PF 3yr 15m PG:Lin/Schröder/Mack SG:Green/Booker/Thabo SF:Carrol/Korver/Baze PF:Horford/Davis C:Okafor/Edy
  11. Sign Monroe/Ellis Trade up in the draft for a game changing Wing for the future.
  12. I would definitely take ellis if they both have the same price tag. Ellis could be lethal in this offense with all the open looks he would receive as well as his ability to score effortlessly off the dribble. His defense is no worse than Kyle Korver and he was serviceable. It would allow Korver to play the 6th man role
  13. Trade Teague/Scott/Both 2nd round picks/Both 1st rounders in 2016 to Philly for #3. Trading Teague would free up 8mil or so leaving us with approximately 34mil in space. We select Deangelo Russell.Combo guy in the mold of Brandon Roy. We get a guy who can play within a team system but can take over and create when the time is needed. Philly gets multiple picks & a point guard who is a proven commodity to run with Noel and Emblid. With the 15th pick we select SF Kelley Oubre. He is a high potential 2way player who could start off as a reserve and grow into our starting 3. FA: Greg Monroe 5yr 70m- Advanced post player with the ability to pass and rebound Brandon Knight 4yr 38m Still averaging 17pts 4rebs 5ast while playing a reserve role to Bledsoe in PHX. Ed Davis 3yr 20m- Very good rebounder and energy guy who excells in pick and roll situations. Demarre Carrol 4yr 44m- While a payday is on the horizon for Carrol, he wont leave as long as we give a respectable deal. His full potential has been realized in this system where he was given the chance to be a starter. Our new owners will be willing to spend into the luxury tax a tad if it means getting the pieces we need PG:Knight/Schröder/Mack SG:Russell/Korver/Baze SF:Carrol/Thabo/Oubre PF:Horford/Davis/Muscalla C:Monroe/Horford/Tavarres We add two players that can create off the dribble as well as facilitate within a system. We add upgrades in post scoring/rebounding with Monroe/Davis/Tavarres We find a way to do this while keeping the glue that makes every thing fit together.. (Carroll)
  14. Horford/Carrol/2nd for Batum/R.Lopez Teague/Schröder/Mack Korver/Thabo/Bazemore Batum/Scott Milsap/Payne/Scott Lopez/Antić/Payne Or Horford/Muscalla For G.Dieng/K.Martin/Brewer Teague/Schröder/Mack Korver/Martin/Thabo DMC/Brewer/Scott Milsap/Scott/Payne Dieng/Payne/Antić
  15. Is their a FA pickup that anybody would be happy with? If Ferry overpays he doesnt know what he is doing and he is handicapping the franchise. If he makes it known to the elite players that he is interested and they decline Ferry is in over his head and his days are numbered. All I know is we have been in the playoffs for at least five years in a row and have recently locked down the right coach. We are a legit piece away from being a real scary team, but we cant force anybody to sign here.
  16. Garbage? Really? Inserting a an 18 pt 10 reb vet , Payne, a perimeter defender who can stroke from the corner and your telling me this team cant go from 38 wins to a 45-50 win club?
  17. Well.. I dont feel too bad about how FA has played out so far. Their are only a handful of players that would make sense for our team and half of them have been severely overpaid. At this point starting F/G is our target. If Ferry's only option is to grossly overpay, he should stay put knowing they will be much improved with a healthy Horford ,Payne, and revitalized Sefalosha. You can add 8-10 wins to our win to record. If we do get anybody, the price has to be right(8-10m). Stephensen is a hell of a player, but Ferry cant risk 10mil on a guy who could destroy the chemistry they developed . Dengs options look to be getting smaller, but Dallas would be our biggest competition if HOU matches Parsons after grabbing Bosh. They will offer what he is looking for. If it isnt all about the money, Atlanta should be the choice with a Milsap type deal.(9-10) Bazemore is a guy that GM's are intrigued by. His arrow is pointing up and could flourish in a good system. I expect he wont have a starting role handed to him, but his work ethic and skill set could land him in a starting rotation as a solid contributor. He would bring a DMC impact on D, but with the ability to slash and create his own shot on occasion. 3-3.5 mil Trade Options: T.Young- anythings possible(8.75m) Jeff Green-might be doable with all the contract Bos just took on.(9.25) D.Gallinari- Den just got Aflalo so who knows.(?9-10m)
  18. Milsap/Jenkins to Philly for Thad Young and 2nd round pick. Why Philly does it: Young has an expiring contract that he isnt going to extend. Noel is basically going to be a rookie fresh off if an ACL. Milsap brings offense at PF and spot duty at SF position while allowing Noel to adjust to the pros especially from an offensive stanpoint. With nobody to speak of at SG, they take Jenks who could contribute if healthy. Why ATL does it: Horford wants to play PF and Milsap makes that hard. T.Young would be an ideal SF in our system. He has played wherever he has been asked to play and has excelled. We could then target a guy like Jordan Hill or the best big man prospects to platoon at Center Teague/Mack/Schroedder Korver/Thabo/Patterson Young/DMC Horford/Scott/Payne Hill/Antić/Payne
  19. The only way I see this working is if they think Teague can play an extended role at SG. While his shooting stroke isnt as good as i would like for an off guard, his ability to slash and finish close to the basket would be interesting. If we find a way to S&T for him, we would still be in the running for a wing this offseason Thomas/Schroedder Teague/Korver FA/DMC Sap/Payne Horford/Antić
  20. Assuming that we release Salmons to get us to about 19.5 mil, couldnt we sign James 1st, then take care of Mack/Scott last?
  21. In that scenario everybody is happy. Deng and Bazemen would compensate nicely for the defensive deficiencies Monroe might have.
  22. How about a 3way trade with Det/Sac/Atl? Atlanta gets Monroe Sac gets Smoove Detroit gets Milsap and Outlaw Sac has shown alot of interest in Smith lately.
