  1. He's to young with way to much potential to trade now. Maybe after a few more years if he does not pan out. He could be a star or could flop but we should keep him to find out. He will be the poster boy for the new front offices mantra of young player development.
  2. Nope, JJ should be off the table for any trade.
  3. 1. Stay Healthy 2. Be more agressive on a consistent basis 3. Stop disappearing in games
  4. Since the offical forums closed anyone know if the people their moved to another forum?
  5. He needs to be more agressive and stay healthy. I'm not sure he does either so I'm not very confident in him. Seems he is what he is at this point.
  6. I just hope we find a way to get rid of Hunter to get him without losing important young talent.
  7. Bufkin is kind of a messy PG at this point, sloppy, lots of mental mistakes and turnovers, bad 3pt shooting etc. He has potential but probably not this year. Id like to see how he handles SG. He is not a day one star but it seems he has some resiliency so lets see how he can grow.
  8. Yea Bufkin is currently a bit of a mess at PG, hope he is better at SG. Good for him to get reps but he is not a PG yet.
  9. He is 100% class and a huge asset to the team. This signing really justifies the trade, if he would have walked for more money after his contract was up that would have really hurt the team.
  10. I'm not really concerned with AJ SL play, I'm slightly concerned with how he dropped off last year after starting off great and now this is the first we are seeing of him. I guess we are all worried he will drop off like Shariff cooper did last year but at present I doubt that is much concern. If he is still having issues in the regular season with our new coaching staff then I'd sound some alarm bells.
  11. So does this mean they are still deciding if they want to keep him or not?
  12. So do people think we will keep him or flip him for something else?
  13. I'll take a real person as an owner that seems to want to win over a nameless mega corp as our owner any day
  14. Sad to see JC go, his contract and finger injury lead him to not live up to the contract so while it sucks this is probably the best long term move for both parties. Really happy DJM resigned, makes the trade for him fully worth it and shores up our starting backcourt for many years and leaves us room to work with The draft went well happy with who we got. I'm pretty happy so far and look forward to Quinn getting a full off season and him having a hand picked coaching staff.
  15. Neither, both are young with alot of promise. You keep those players
  16. Awesome. DJM has been a great leader on this team and he put his money where his mouth is. Our backcourt is set for years now and the trade for him makes more sense now
  17. Simmons had been a broken player for years now and we are the team that broke him. I wouldnt even sign him as a cheap FA let alone trade starters for him.
  18. The new front office is doing good work, TS was good but it seems he had some issues and put us in a bit of a cap bind and did not square away our coaching situation very well. I'm certainly looking forward to this season and see what Quinn can do with this lineup. I hated losing JC but given his contract his declining play and him always being surrounded by trade rumors it was probably time to move on unfortunately. I wish JC never injured his finger and he lived up to his contract.
  19. I got mixed feelings about this one that is for sure. I love Collins as a leader on the team and think he did whatever the team asked of him, however his contract was to big and his finger injury killed his progression as a shooter and he disappeared way to much during games to justify his contract. It is unfortunate it came to this but also he was rumored to be traded every week so a part of me is glad those constant rumors will be gone now. I wish he did not injure his finger and kept progressing and lived up to his pay on the court but honestly the last 2 years he did not. I hop the best for him, I'm not mad at the front office cause that was a 2 way street, we paid him to much at the same time his game declined mostly due to his finger injury. No one is at fault but it's probably best for him and the team to part ways. Would have been nice to get something more for him but with his contract their was no market for him to get a return. I do hope we use this new cap space for SOMETHING that improves the team that would lessen the sting a bit. Good luck to you John you are a great person and I hope your game improves over the years.
  20. Id try not to but if its max contract or he walks and we get nothing then Im giving him a max contract.
  21. Good for him, I'm happy with what he built here but I think the new front office is better then him just in what they have done by hiring Quinn and getting Bey. I think it was a good move to go on from him even if it was messy for a few weeks. We are in better hands now
