What Trae has done and continues to do is REALLY taken for granted and some won't realize it until he's gone. If the Hawks decide to let go of the rope for the rest of the season and end up with a lottery pick...I can totally see Trae saying "trade that for a veteran who can help me now or trade me". And, I wouldn't blame him one bit. That said, I'd totally watch for where the Spurs pick ends up.

If that happened, the Hawks would sit Robinson for the rest of the season to tank. A second half tank might REALLY aggravate Trae.

When Woj reported "the Hawks are ready to trade Dejounte Murray", someone in the organization should have publicly pushed back. But, instead they just let that be the narrative.

These other markets want to see their teams rob the Hawks. There is no way a player of Murray's caliber, under team control for a few years, and at that salary number should be attracting these kind of hospital mop offers.
