According to hawks.com, Lee Nailon has been signed by the Hawks.

I had no clue that Dickau's injury was that serious and lingering. I suppose that's what happens when you hear no report about anything from your team for an entire summer. Did anyone here know that it was going to last this long?

The training camp roster is up today. Nailon apparently isn't an invitee.

I can't believe what I'm reading. Hotlanta, I wonder what it took for you to say that. It's true that the situation is a factor in shaping the player. Having someone to pass to and build your confidence is a great thing. Also, I think that Dickau's $835,200 is the reason that we keep him around. That's a great price for a player that could really develop into something good.

I agree about the high management position. But, if we don't let him coach, he may take his services elsewhere (especially if he is offered a college HC position, or even an assistant position within the NBA). Look at how fast English bolted.

I agree. Kasten should have ben GM all along. The look of this team would be completely different, and the outlook would be much brighter at the present. But, we'll see how Knight does this year. P.S. Happy birthday to JT (9/15), DD (9/16), and me (9/17)!

Ahh... wrong again. Dickau was drafted by the Kings. Also, Van Horn and Miller are becoming key players on their respective teams. A player doesn't have to rack up 28 PPG, 8 RPG, and 8 APG to be good. Your standards for white players are way too high. Why don't you bring them down to the level you expect the rest of the league to be at.

There's a difference between trash talking and standing up for you player. I'm doing the latter. And if I am trash talking, it has nothing to do with the Hawks- I'm not that worried about them. I just get sick people complaining. Do it somewhere else. Some people here are trying to be positive.
