  1. Both stud players you could argue either way.
  2. Back to back in the toughest climate for road teams because of the element with inferior quality depth. I am trying to be optimistic but this is most likely a L. On the bright side the ASG and Sund will not be able to use that we have won how many ever months in a row pitch anymore
  3. Zaza was a starting C on a losing, lottery team. Dalembert and Chandler have been starting C's on playoff teams. I understand the one aspect you point out but Chandler and Dalembert are clear overall upgrades over Zaza. They are just 2 of the many big men that I would rather be spending the near $5 million that we will spend on Zaza next year on instead. Glen Davis Kendrick Perkins Troy Murphy Kurt Thomas Tyson Chandler Kenyon Martin Chris Wilicox Chuck Hayes Jeff Foster Josh McRoberts Craig Smith Deandre Jordan Erick Dampier Kris Humphries Nick Collison Nenad Krstic Spencer Hawes Greg Oden Dalembert Carl Landry Reggie Evans Alexis Ajinca Fesenko All these guys could be free agents this summer and we are stuck paying Zaza almost $5 million a year to do nothing 90% of the time. I'd rather have any of the above. We could improve if the ASG would go over luxury or we ditched Zaza and Marvin.
  4. Marvin's best asset is his size and length any warm body from this year's draft that is his size can do what Marvin does. Marvin and Zaza are less worthy of there contracts than Mike Bibby was of his.
  5. Yes, he forgets what got him there. LD has no strong convictions which makes him a bad coach.
  6. He used to be a knockdown shooter and we need one but I don't think the Hawks are #1 on veteran lists, just saying.
  7. The real Zaza is most likely the one you have seen on the regular do nothing this year. He has had 2 to 3 good games all year and has been in the regular rotation for the most part because of our lack on depth up front. He has really been a sad player for the last 2 years. He complains a lot for someone that does not produce also. I don't like Zaza's attitude or play. Hopefully he can get traded this offseason. I would much rather be using that almost $5 million next year on Dalembert, Tyson Chandler, or some other above average defensive minded C.
  8. Yeah, I just can't see why we need to give this guy every chance in the world but Teague get's very little wiggle room. The guy played 29 minutes last night, got to play through 4 turnovers to 1 assist, got torched on defense for double digits when he only scored 8, that would get Teague sent to the D League, but he needs time. Teague has never gotten time. I am just glad that the nation, commentators included saw last night that Teague affects the game on the defensive end in a positive manner for the Hawks.
  9. Your whole statement really warrants you a warning from the mods but since I know it is not going to happen because they only want to make a big stink of things with the newbies I will just take it in stride, but for the record this insinuation is something that should not be allowed. Lastly, I feel the same way about people in love with Mr. Hinrich when he still has not done a thing to show he is some type of heady floor general, honestly he has been on the floor both games when we gave up huge leads, not Teague and he makes some disturbing TO's to be a vet. Carry on.
  10. Yes Teague is our best defensive guard it is great to see him making an impact
  11. He isn't Sund and others are just trying to justify this lateral move. Teague is way better than Hinrich is defensively, Andre Miller had 20 and none came on Teague, it was all Jamal and Hinrich, nothing has changed man, it's all about shot making with LD and was with Woody also. I hope Teague gets traded this summer because he deserves better. Hinrich has been on the floor both times we blew big leads since he been here and it does not matter because he can score better nothing will ever be made of it.
  12. It's sad that Hinrich has been on the floor both times we gave up big leads since he has been here. I am not seeing this heady leader and Teague is definitely better on D. I wish we had traded for something we need like a SF upgrade or a Big.
  13. When we play Teague it's pesky D. When we play anyone else it's all about shot making.
  14. He got 20 and not 1 came on Teague even though he is smaller. He ate mostly Hinrich and Jamal to some point alive. Hinrich is a upgrade over Bibby but I really like Teague on D.
  15. Teague is better than Hinrich defensively but Hinrich will play more because he can make shots. That's what it comes down to. Hinrich gives up just as many as he get's also and he does not play as savvy as some would like you to believe. The guy has been on the floor when we gave up big leads in both of his games played with Hawks. I really want more Teague the dude is good on defense and helps us turn it up a couple of notches. When learns to finish he will be averaging double figures easy.
  16. Yeah, they are getting more stops, don't know what it can be attributed to though because Hinrich is giving up just as many as he is getting. Teague is better defensively and it is not even close.
  17. Plenty of Church Leagues and YMCA's have roster spots.
  18. Nothing at all wrong with his shot. They go in sometimes and don't sometimes. It's his lack of finishing at the rim that bothers me more than his jumpshooting.
  19. We play well in Portland but Portland has the better front line and bench we should lose honestly.
  20. Bibby was the Kings best shooter also, Bibby played best coming off screens and when Doug Christie ran the offense. Truthfully, Bibby was used incorrectly with the Hawks like they do most of there players. Bibby is a more proven playoff guy than anyone on our current roster. Finally, Kirk Hinrich has a resume that includes leading a few teams into the lottery, let us not forget. He is not some great player that everyone else should be getting knocked but he get's praised. Furthermore, that once again leads me to my believe that he nor Teague will look exceptional with that weak bench because Hinrich has proven he can not do some type of miracle with a bad unit.
  21. When did a good trade happen? Hopefully, the rumor of Bibby being bought out is true and he returns to the Hawks. That would make this trade good considering we don't have a single knock down shooter and we already had our defensive minded PG before we made the trade.
  22. Why not come back to Atl, we need a Eddie House, why do they need 2?
  23. Teague starts MC confirmed it, let's go Hawks
  24. LD needs to start the same lineup every game you make people adjust to you not the other way around.
  25. He is a one trick pony. Bibby was accused of that but he was not a one trick pony. He was the best clutch shooter, best knockdown shooter, and he could get you into offense. Everything Jamal does is to set himself up to score. Glad to see him gone after this year, wish we had kept Jordan.
