  1. Yes, you got it correct, all the way correct, considering Hinrich is a bigger combo guard than Teague he would bring more off the bench because he can play 2 positions. Hinrich PG/SG Jamal SG and Marvin SF/PF off the bench would give us a decent bench spark. I say start: PG Teague SG Joe SF Damien PF Josh C Al That would get you off to some good defensive starts and set the tone.
  2. Lateral Move, with the ability to go downhill fast. I wish Jordan the best. He is most likely better than anything we can get in the draft and cheaper than anything we can get in free agency to replace Jamal who we will not be able to resign and I don't want resigned. These moves hurt more than help, but it takes some too long to see that.
  3. Hopefully LD has the sense to hide Zaza at the end of the bench like he is Bin Laden because his last shining moment was his sideshow with the Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett.
  4. We don't have one, it's just win and when they don't threaten to make lineup changes. Josh Smith can shoot 10 3's a night as long as they win. We have a coach that got hired because of his spaceage offensive sets that either don't work when we play decent defensive teams or they don't run much. The coach tells one player that he has to take the job from the guy that was already there when he came then gives it to another player. A coach that changes starting lineups depending on other teams strengths and not his teams strengths. We have a coach that has few convictions but comes at a cheap price. We have a GM that trades 2 #1 picks and 2 serviceable players for 1 serviceable player and justifies it as the best he could do and the draft is weak. Our owners and management are a direct reflection of the coach and GM. That's what we are. A no moral and principle needed organization.
  5. I don't respond directly to others because the massa mods say I am the one keeping up mess. It's just another way of showing it's not me. I just state my opinions and everyone starts coming at me. I don't mind though because I am not a fragile person that thinks everything should begin and end with my opinion but I will not quit stating my truthful opinion just to satisfy a bunch of keyboards. They say I am not respecting others by stating differing opinions I should suck up since I am new
  6. I don't respond to others and type exactly what I mean.
  7. I don't respond directly to other people but Hinrich is a perceived defensive upgrade to this team because we don't fully know what Teague can do. He might be better than Hinrich defensively. He will struggle with bigger guards that will post him but he is better with ball pressure, playing the passing lanes, and possibly helping teammates. Yes it's perceived because it's not Bibby vs Hinrich, it's Hinrich vs Bibby and Teague.
  8. What a joke, If Hinrich plays great he will give us what Bibby gave us when he 1st came and helped push the team into the playoffs with confidence. He is Mike Bibby from 3 years ago with a perceived defensive upgrade. If he plays like last night he is that lateral move that many think he was.
  9. Mike Bibby is good for what he is good for which is Eddie House at this point.
  10. Spend another 20 years as backup coach
  11. Teague played better than Hinrich last night. We did not need Hinrich but I agree he flipped the switch because Teague feels he has a real shot with Hinrich his only competition.
  12. The less I see of Jamal the better I am if he is not making shots he should be benched.
  13. Teague played better than Hinrich. Teague set the tone. He defended without fouling, got to the rack more than Hinrich and had more assists than Hinrich. Hinrich is a better scorer and combo guard than Teague, Teague will have trouble with Andre Miller because of size that will be the true test rather Hinrich is this defensive worldbeater that some are claiming.
  14. Yes. If you are a man with strong or differing opinions you get a negative, you got the way the system works around here. :thumbsupsmileyanim:
  15. Thank you for telling the truth. He shut down Curry and slowed down Monta when Monta was going off in the 2nd quarter. He also was not the one in the game in the 4th when they cut a 30 pt lead to 11 or 12 in less than a quarter. :thumbsupsmileyanim:
  16. I plan to have one of everyone that was better than Marvin in the 1st round of :shake_puter: that draft.
  17. Teague should not be taking out of starting lineup for Kirk, Kirk looked no better than Teague tonight. He looked just as bad as Teague did off the bench. He was in the game when GS cut lead from 30 to 11 or 12 in a quarter. He should not be rewarded for that.
  18. Summary Teague played well defensively and got the 1st units into sets. He slowed down Monta Ellis when he threatened to erase a 19 pt lead by himself. He really still does not understand when to attack and when not. It is disturbing that he gets stripped so much going to the rack. Hinrich played good defensively and can make shots with the first team but he also had a disturbing turnover where a big man stripped him when he was trying to run the pick and roll. He was on the court when Golden State cut a 30 pt lead down to 11 or 12. He looks no better than Teague did when coming off the bench to be fair. Next, good game all around for the Hawks, but I still say Hinrich was a lateral move with the potential to go really downhill if Jordan is as good as some think he will be, plus Teague can do the job defensively. Also, Mo was a bigger part than some give credit for and our bench sucks arse bad. Looked good tonight but we are not going anywhere with this team when we don’t have a single big that demands playing time off the bench, that was a bigger problem than PG because we had Teague. Finally, Teague should still be starter for anyone that saw that game and is not trying to justify this move.
  19. I guess if we are going to judge the Knicks off of tonight alone then we should judge ole "Lateral Move" Hinrich off of tonite alone also.
  20. LD needed to focus on more than some offensive sets and running in training camp but it is what it is. :write a letter:
  21. If you think that Drew and his offense is an upgrade I would say yes the coach is the problem, but I don't see anything that you could think you were getting from hiring this guy. He could have done everything else from one seat over other than install his sets.
  22. Basically I sing of rather people agree with you or not that can get blown out of proportion and made into someone thinking you are disruptive or trying to cause problems because your point of view is too strong for the little status quo environment they have built.
  23. Hard cap would not be bad if it was $75 to $80 million, but America's favorite past time does not have a hard cap and noone is complaining with the ridiculous salaries some of those guys get. Maybe they will try something like that after Albert get's $30 million a year. I actually think the Yankees are good for sports. Just because you have a high payroll does not mean you will win it all and it has been proven. I am with the players because how much they get paid is not the problem. Kinda like healthcare, I am all for making it illegal for them to reject people with pre-existing health problems but you can't make someone go to the hospital. I don't think anything should be mandatory other than things we can't change like death. Just suffer the consequences. Keep the luxury threshold. On the other hand, what if someone needs serious treatment and can't afford it. Apply that theory. You have to find a way to share the wealth which is what going over luxury does. I don't see what the owners are whining about other than they want more money but so does the players. Without the players they would not have anything to own the players better not go for a hard cap. They got it right.
  24. Nothing just trying to get him not to disrespect me, since the mods only want to bother me about personal attacks in which I don't commit any. I just have strong opinions that weak little guys can't handle. Means nothing though. :blow out candles:
