^^ that's Sacre haha the backup centre for the Lakers
-
I'd be happy with Bazemore signing on a small value contract, very athletic and decent at attacking the rim

Luol agent said it will take 12m per year, @YannisNBA: . @WindhorstESPN on ESPN - Luol Deng telling teams it's going to take $12 million a year to sign him.

If Deng signs, am gonna be excited. The defensive potential is nice.

Merged: Hawks sign Thabo Sefolosha to a 3 years $12 million contract
Ryaan replied to GrimeyKidd's topic in Homecourt
Not sure where he fights, maybe backup SG? He fits the Hawks personality, being a hard worker and decent passer, but I'm sure he declined this season. -
Restricted free agent and I'm sure the Suns reportedly said they would match no matter what.

Peachtree Hoops: Hawks' players react to Lou Williams' trade
Ryaan replied to Hawksquawk's topic in Homecourt
Good luck Lou, hope to see him shine at the Raptors, but not at the Hawks expense, enjoy Louwillville! -
I just see a little Russ West in him, but maybe that's just because he seems so athletic. He averaged P- 13.1 A- 3.1 R - 3.3 during his Lakers stint this season. I wouldn't mind him being either a 6man or starting shooting guard on a small waged contract.

That's right JTB, Payne was labelled as the most ready player in the draft. I feel DF and Bud knew this, they didn't pick him to wait for years to develop. I feel this was a plan in place if Monroe is pursued. Trade Monroe for Millsap, move Horford to PF, with Scott and Payne backing him up. Thinking about the touted trades, if we were to sign Deng and Bazemore who we have reported interest in could improve us vastly. A lineup of Teague, Bazemore, Deng, Horford and Monroe. With Mack, Korver, Carroll, Scott, Payne, Schröder, Jenkins would be quite tasty.

Id be happy with signing Munroe if we were flippin Millsap. No idea where he can end up, but he's a very flexible trade piece

Merged: Hawks trade Bebe and Lou to Toronto for Salmons
Ryaan replied to GrimeyKidd's topic in Homecourt
Per CViv on twitter 'Nogueira (and knees) was expendable with signing of Muscala and drafting of Tavares. #ATLHawks' Followed by 'Told Hawks' move created salary cap space but not designed to target a specific player. #ATLHawks' -

Well I'm thinking Tavarez is Bebe except with muscle and bigger weight? At least I'm hoping so, because I sure was excited for Bebe this year. Most reporters are claiming that Ferry has something planned, otherwise the trade wouldn't have gone down. All aboard the Ferry train! -

ESPN writer Marc Stein said Hawks and Raptors are discussing a trade of Lou Williams for John Salmons. '@ESPNSteinLine: ESPN has learned that Toronto Raptors are in advanced trade discussions to deal John Salmons to Atlanta for Lou Williams. Story going online' Additionally '@ESPNSteinLine: Hawks can waive Salmons by Monday and pay only $1 million of veteran guard's $7 million salary next season. Raps get quality guard in return' Hellloo capspace -
Ferry is getting it. Look at this size he's drafted
Ryaan replied to Admin's topic in NBA Draft Talk
What I'm thinking is wings are easier to come by through trade and free agency, whereas the centre are harder to come by. I'm all for Ferrys recent picks. Hopefully Bebe takes Brand and Ayón's minutes whilst Payne gets some playing time. Ship Moose out again and wait for Tavares to mature overseas -
Possibly try shift lou for a new sixth man?
-
Y'all rate Irving highly, considering he was a 1st pick, Isaiah Thomas has identical stats and he was the last pick. Maybe not throughout all seasons but definately the one season just gone. Irving is a glorified shooting guard
-
I see Anderson as very pick able prospect. Small forward with passing ability and is overly unselfish from what I've seen, very Ginobli esque, but yes he is slow. If the main criticism is that he's slow, the ball moves faster than players do, and we are a predominantly passing team, so it shouldn't be too hard to adjust him in.
-
Il pass, am not giving up 5 first rounders let alone 2 for a flat out scorer who can't defend
-
Man I stopped listening to rumours, fact is DF keeps his trades private, at least from what I remember with Millsap and DMC, the only rumour which surfaced was internationally, being Pero.
-
Munroe at the centre? SVG reported to say that Pistons won't be offering him a contract, must see Drummond as D12 and Smoove will be moving to the 4.

Hawksquawk Exit Interviews: Cartier Martin,Mike Muscala,John Jenkins
Ryaan replied to MrMeltdown's topic in Homecourt
That's right a healthy Jenkins in his rookie season was fairly decent, and when confident the 3 was automatic. I guess it's just how the Hawks are, built with streaky shooters. But talking of summer league I'm just excited to see Bebe and want to see if playing in Spain has helped develop him. -

John already confirmed hell be at summer league, think twitter if I remember correctly when he took over the Hawks account for a game. Schro, Jenkins, Muscala, Bebe and the new draftees will make an exciting summer league -
So pacers win one game and we become demoralised? What about when they blew us out, they didn't suddenly gain confidence cuz we beat them on their home advantage after game 4. Definately a panic thread caused by emotion.
