Hawks currently have $5.3 mill in capspace, they can release Chandler and open up a roster spot and sign a player, though I don't who or we could also trade for  a young player for that amount.

I'd prefer a trade and I got the perfect one lined up.

Here's my offer (based on reports that OKC is looking for salary relief, a young player and a 1st for Adams):

Stephens Adams for Chandler Parsons (salary relief for next season), Damian Jones (young player) OKC getting their 2022 1st round pick back (protected 1-14, then 2-2nds)

Adams starts, Len off the bench, Bruno in progress!

I wouldn't hate that, not sure OKC takes it though. Not sure I love it either

Although I hate our Center depth, I'll give them a 10 game improvement primarily because of Trae and John but also no Prince and Jalen Adams! So 39 wins

    1. 9th seed and will miss the playoffs with some Schlenk magic

    2. Trae and Collins will be all stars

    3. Hunter will be 1st team all rookie team Cam 2nd team

    4. Trae will the most number of total point because John will miss some time

    5. Damien Jones

    This sounds about right.

I'll say 41 wins, make the POs as an 8 seed.

    John, then Trae make it.

Hunter makes all rookie team, hope Reddish surprises me

Trae will lead us in scoring

Vince will play the least out of the top 10, Jones doesn't crack the top 10 (shout out to the Crabbe/Bembry/Reddish trio, could see it being one of them)

  3. 1. Trae hits 4 game winners and becomes the coldest dude in the clutch since Joe Johnson (another Hawk?!)

    2. Hunter doesn't put up big stats but looks NIIIICE.

    3. Damian Jones looks like straight ass all season and makes us miss Plumlee

    4. Somebody on the Squawk sees Parsons at the club while the Hawks are playing.

    5. We sweep the Celtics, Trae stops Parsons from Tebowing on their logo because we're above that, and the Celtics fans' heads explode trying to convince themselves Tatum's better than Trae.

Bonus: the Celtics crumble again and fall to the 7th seed when they realize Kyrie wasn't the issue, the problem was they suck and have nothing positive to offer the NBA.

I wouldn't HATE it, but I don't really see the need for it either unless TS just really believes none of the wings will be there at 8.  If we are doing NO a favor taking Hill's bad contract, I'd offer 10 + 2nd for Hill + 4.  Otherwise, I'd just keep the 3 I have take the BPA.  My opposition is there's ZERO reason to trade 8 with any combination of players or picks to get up to 4.  I just wouldn't do it.

The thing is, we don't need A wing, we need THE GOOD wing. There's some disagreement over who that is, but if you're like me and you think Hunter is pretty clearly on a different tier than the other ones, you go get him. I'd rather have Hunter than Nas + Reddish, just like I'd rather have Kawhi than Middleton+Harris (especially because I doubt Nas and especially Reddish will ever be that good).

  5. I'm also not in love with Culver, but I've really come around on him after watching more. He has a nice handle for his size. A solid handle is HUGE for a prospect. If he can get a little stronger and fix his shot, I see some Joe Johnson in him.

I like him and Hunter, wouldn't give up much to trade up for them though tbh.

Starting to feel the best prospect in the draft not named Zion or a point guard are the following

    1) Jarrett Culver ( Although I wouldn't trade up for him)

    2) Jaxson Hayes

    3) Sekou Doumbouya

    4) Goga Bitadze

    5) Brandon Clarke ( I list Clarke last because he is a bit of a duplicate of John Collin although he might be better than Collins)

I am not high on Reddish or Little although I would stomach Hunter if Schlenk went in that direction. Reddish is just too bad of a finisher around the rim.  Only one player has been worse than him drafted in the top 10 in 20 years.  Despite what many have said, there is huge upside with Hayes...The guy has grown over 10 inches over the last 2 years. Goga is so skilled already that he reminds me of Jokic who I love!. Clark was the 2nd best player in college last year. Sekou is a physical freak of nature.

Oh I forgot to dog Barrett...He is a wannabe #1 with no agility what so ever.  He is like a one read running Quarterback!  And it does help that he isn't good at shooting. Stay away!

Mostly agree with this, except I'm not huge on Clarke unless we think he can play the 3. Also not huge on Hayes because he duplicates a lot of what Collins gives us offensively, just not as well. Defensively he's interesting.

    I think I'd go:

    1) Goga

    2) Hunter

    3) Sekou (worry about his fit with Collins)

    4) Culver, I guess? Maybe Clarke?

I like that Claxton kid, too.
