Well his arrest record is probably the only reason why he hasn't been picked up. As said before is Kobe is vouching for this man I say give him a shot. I'm not high on "potential" obviously but when a competitor like Kobe vouches for you must have some type of game.

Did Devin Harris reach a deal with Dallas? Yeah he gets injured a lot but when he was playing he wasn't bad at all. Hope David Lighty isn't our answer for a backup wing player.

I've done enough reading on Coach. He is the real deal. Look how many good coaches Pop has hatched.

Like PSHHHHHRR, I'm glad we finally have a GM who makes things happen. In Budenholzer I think we finally have a long term coach. Those two things alone make us a legit franchise now. It might take a couple years, but I think already we can safely say nobody can call the Atlanta Hawks a joke of a franchise anymore. The future is promising.

Addition by subtraction absolutely. Millsap knows what he is a plays to his advantages. Josh is definitely more talented but has too many game changing mental farts. Loved Josh, but I was yelling at the t.v. more times than not on a boneheaded move by him.

We tried getting him from San Diego back in 2008, so we all know Frank Wren loves him some Jake Peavy. Well now that might be a real possibility with the horrific injury of Tim Hudson. Reading around it seems the Braves are the top suitors for Jake, he would be a real work horse for us, and Chicago is looking to sell. It's a guarantee that Peavy gets traded, but where? Bud Norris from Houston is also a possibility. Any thoughts?

In all honesty, I too think we will be better this year. As much as I loved Josh, just having him out of the picture will make us a real team actually working together to accomplish our goals. We have some great team players in Horford, Millsap, and Korver. I also think Teague blossoms a bit more without Josh taking up space and launching 5 to 7 horrible shots a game. Yes, the real addition by subtraction comes into play here WITHOUT JOSH SMITH.
