Not sure about Philly. I am pretty sure it's Horford though. Harris is not on the market at all. I was told they want to keep him at all cost. I still think they are looking to moving Richardson for future draft assets. Minny is clear, James Johnson. Not sure the cost though Brooklyn is Prince. Not Dinwiddle. He's their only bad contract Boston is looking for cash. COVID hit them harder than expected. They really get a good amount of money via the ticket sales Kings is trying to save money and sale some of their 2nd rounders. I think Atlanta is interested for trade up reasons. For LAL - See Kings. Save money reasons. They plan on being active in FA for vets. They need as much money as possible. They aren't willing to sell their pick but they are open to trading down out of the 1st round.

Trae needs to shoot it like Lillard

This is a draft where we could trade out of the draft or end up at #10 drafting Okongwu. Nothing would surprise me. It's all about what value can they get for their pick. I did get from multiple people that trade value in this draft is eye of the beholder so we don't know what else can be had outside of Ball who's the most coveted prospect in this class.

That would get Atlanta attention. They like Hunter but they been trying to get another big wing for a minute. They are hard to come by. O.G. clearly meets the eye. He didn't say.

He's #1 on their big board. They are very interested in Edwards. I just don't think they are locked into ANYONE in this draft the way there were with R.J., Hunter, and Reddish last year. If there is a move that can get them multiple assets, they will take it. Last year, it was clear by the time of the draft who they wanted. I am 99.99% certain Atlanta will trade down if Melo's the pick. Atlanta seems to have higher on moving down higher on the list than taking Edwards, Toppin, or Ball is what I've got from my call earlier today.

It would be a pretty good haul. I know it's not out of the line of thinking. Wiseman to Atlanta isn't high on the list but it's higher than people think if Atlanta trades back.

Update: I was told Bruno is here to stay and they want to develop him into a quality player but he could be had in a trade as a filler is what I was told. Atlanta shopped (more like listened) for everyone not named Young to see the value, not for actual trades. I was told Atlanta will not be trading their core under ANY circumstances unless it gets them a franchise player around the league who fits where Atlanta wants to do long term. I was told, that player is not on the market right now but if he was, Atlanta would open up the bank.... As would anybody else, duh. If Atlanta gets the 1st overall pick. I am hearing LaMelo Ball, NOT Anthony Edwards will be the selection. Atlanta has been working behind the scenes with teams and the trade value for Ball is just much higher at this time. The Knicks are open to moving one of the Mavs pick, trading a lightly protected 1st for 2021, and trading their late 1st and of course swapping their pick lotto pick. I heard, Atlanta is pretty open to moving down all the way to 8 but the further down it is, the more the cost. But I was told at least a swap of 2020 picks, a lightly protected 1st 2021, and one of the Mavs picks will be in the deal regardless if it's 1 to 3, 2 to 3, or 1 to 8. This will be a haul for Atlanta and why in 9 days, we need to land at 1 or 2. I was told if all potential deals fall through, Ball will still be the pick. I doubt it because DET is also in on Ball as well as Chicago and amazingly, NEW ORLEANS. Atlanta willingness to move down to a pretty wide range has opened up the market if Ball ends up in Atlanta's hands. Lastly, I was told Toronto is one of the teams that reached out to Atlanta about our 1st 2020 pick if it lands in a certain spot. I was told Atlanta was interested. Something to watch there as Masai is sky high on LaMelo Ball as well. My guess is O.G., 2020 1st, and a future 1st rounder. Golden State is locked into Anthony Edwards at #1. They think he can be a superstar like the next Harden. They think he will fit long term and needs to be molded as well as can be molded. They gotten the vote of confidence as well. While GS is willing to trade down if they land Ball, I heard they are only willing to go so far down. Cleveland is sky high on Toppin but if they land #1 pick, they are trying to get LaMelo Ball as well for trade bait reasons of course. They are only willing to move down so far is what I am told. They are locked into Wiseman, Toppin, Okoro, Edwards, and Deni. They do NOT want a PG. Atlanta is pretty locked into their board and here is what he mentioned in tiers: Edwards/Toppin/Ball Hali/Okoro/Deni Wiseman/Hayes/OO Anthony/Vassell/Naismith no order but they are willing to move down if the price is right, but they are not interesting in moving up for the top 10. They are looking more a wing/big more than a PG with the pick is what I was told but Atlanta will go BPA no matter what is what I was told. I was told potential and fit is what they are targeting. He said ideally, they would love to add a big wing but none is available in this draft outside of Okoro who has his flaws. This is NEWS to me. Atlanta has also been open with teams looking to sell 1st rounders and teams who are also trying to get out of bad deals or just open up some cap room for a target player has reached out to Atlanta. Due to Atlanta's cap, roster space, and flexibility. Atlanta has been the most popular team in the trade market even more than New York. Teams he said reached out: Dallas, MIN, Brooklyn, Philly, Boston, LAL, and the Kings. I was told teams most interested with Atlanta have been Dallas, MIN, Philly, Boston, and the Lakers. Brooklyn is locking into a deal where they trade Dinwiddle and Prince for Buddy Hield. I also was told they talked to Atlanta to see if they are willing to take back Prince for a 1st rounder. He didn't report back what Atlanta said, I am guessing hell naw! Brooklyn wants to bring back Joe Harris at all cost and are willing to go at Atlanta and New York for him. I was told NY has him as a priority target and would love to play him next to R.J. I was told he's going to stay in NY but where is the question. While Dinwiddle is loved in Brooklyn, Kyrie and him aren't the best of teammates which could open him up to trades. I was told that Brooklyn's been targeting PG's in the draft as well. Atlanta is targeting a move back into the late lottery - mid first again to land a PG to backup Trae. A lot of our fans want them to sign someone like Dunn but I am hearing Dunn will return to CHI as well as Melton to MEM. I was told Atlanta is popular with FAs who are backups but not popular with starter types due to already having a core. He said, Atlanta will land some FAs but he doesn't think it's the FAs that make a difference that many were hoping to sign. Names I was told Atlanta likes and they have Atlanta high on their list is: Langston Galloway, E'Twaun Moore, Alec Burks, Glenn Robinson III, Jahlil Okafor, and my guy, Torrey Craig. They want a rotation spot so chances are, we might just sign only a couple of them. These are the names where the agents are pushing for Atlanta and we like them as well. I was told NO wants to keep and resign my guy Williams. My guy confirmed that Philly is not interested in trading Simmons or Embiid. He said, if they did, it's going to be Simmons who will be moved but it's going to be for a bigger haul than New Orleans got for AD is what I was told. This is different than what I got from my media friend who said Simmons would be the pick to stay with PHI. Cleveland's package includes a lot of picks, Porter Jr., Sexton, and Love is what I was told. I asked does this move the needle, he said, to the open market, no but you never know. He said, a team he thinks can make a great offer is Denver. He also said Washington but he also said that Washington wants to keep Beal at all cost. He also said, watch for Phoenix as well. He said, they want a star for a star or a star to multiple potential stars. The Zack LaVine and Aaron Gordon market is dead again. The suitors willing to match the price both teams want for each player. Al Horford/Blake Griffin/Andre Drummond are readily available if you want them. Kevin Love is still available but they want you trade them an asset and people want Love+asset. NY wants to sign a lot of quality vets and they have the market buzzing. A lot of FAs are targeting the Knicks. Even Marcus Morris again, lol. SAC wants to resign Bogi and trade Hield for a good vet who fits. I was told they want to resign Len and Bazemore to cheap long term deals. LAL is targeting Tristan Thompson and wants to move from Dwight Howard. The biggest news he told me is Dallas is willing to trade out of the draft altogether if they can get out of Dwight Powell's contract who recently tore his ACL. I was told, no suitors so far but they reached out to teams like Atlanta and New York who said no. He said, keep an eye on Charlotte who might consider. Charlotte is trying to add more picks as well like Atlanta. Aron Baynes is the hottest FA. A lot of teams want him and teams like Charlotte are targeting him with a nice salary. His fit to PnR heavy teams is appealing. I think that's it for now. I probably forgot some stuff. He said, watch for Orlando to blow it up. They could sell assets like Vucevic for cheap. Said teams are waiting for a discount price for Gordon and Vucevic but said Orlando has remained head-strong that they are doing and moving in the right direction the way they are. He said SAS will not blow it up. They like what they are doing now. They are seeing the results of it and a lot of people around the league feel since the drafts have been stronger of late, it's better to build while winning instead of tearing it down and needing luck to get on the right track aka the KB21 model is getting rave reviews. Teams find developing young talent difficult and it requires hitting on that talent and a good mix to work. Teams are realizing upperclassman players need to be targeted more for the NBA draft in today's NBA. PHX has already adjusted to this logic. Others are joining.
  9. I disagree. I think he's a great fit for any team trying to win. The issue is, a lot of teams also see value in Sap.
  10. They got that shit contract of THJ but guess what, because they have a great team situation for THJ, his contract isn't even bad with Dallas anymore. We gotta be smart like Dallas. Shit, even if we do the basic IQ shit of Rick Sund, that's an upgrade over the stupid shit we did in the last three years with TS in FA. Alex Len is literally our best FA. If we are that trash at this shit, we need to take obvious trade wins that carry a larger contract.
  11. It insane to think Richardson won't opt out of a 10 million contract as a WING in today's NBA. He's worth so much more on the open market. Look at how much a sharp like Harris will get this off-season in a weak market and you think Richardson won't get something close? HA! Come on, know the market please. Wings are going for a premium in today's NBA. It don't. If we want Giannis and he wants us, there is NOTHING stopping us from getting him. Therefore it don't. Stop being exact, these are skilled mfers we got in management. Not Pookie playing 2k who even Pookie and em is smart enough to figure this out. There is moves that can be make if Atlanta doesn't want to waive the caphold. It's not hard to do. It's only 12 million dollars, not 25 million like D. Russell or KP. I'll do whatever it takes to keep it, that's worth assets. See MIL/Brogdon for example.
  12. We are in a jumper's position. Not Orlando's. We already have a superstar in Trae Young. We already have a potential All Star level player in John Collins and we think we have another superstar/star in Reddish. We have to build like Dallas, not like Orlando.
  13. Most of them are going to be FAs with team options or 1 million dollar buyouts. I've been told NY wants to put a lot of vets around their young players (Robinson and R.J) and try to win while rebuilding. They are targeting Joe Harris and Paul Millsap. They want to bring Randle off the bench. They want LaMelo Ball like we wanted Hunter last year is also intel that I got. They wanted Sap a couple years ago. James Johnson is a lock to pickup his option but they have ways to get out of that deal. They are one of the four teams rumored to be looking to move down outside of the lottery or trade out all together. Them, Boston, Nuggets, and Sixers. Denver wants to resign Sap as well. I did hear the Hawks were interested but Sap people still wants him to start and he's leaning on leaving from what I got. Atlanta has been reaching out to agents but the lack of PT makes having the money they have useless as they have their guys and core already.
  14. That can happen to anyone on the roster or any the NBA. What if Giannis gets a significant injury. What if John, LeBron, Leonard, shit, the entire 2021 FA class do? Come on, you are being f***ing ridiculous! That shit ain't likely to happen sis. Be f***ing realistic, he's easily outplaying his contract value. Everyone can see that even Stevie Wonder. That ain't bad cap management. You don't understand enough about cap management to make that statement. There's levels to contracts and deals and your roster situation. Our situation has a lot of youth contracts. Therefore, we have a lot of ability to add bigger contracts that might not be good deals market wise but the value of the player is still a very good value. Al is still a very good value. He is still a 5 WAR player and if used right unlike at Philly, is a 7-8 WAR player. That has tremendous value as a starter much less as a backup. These are the moves high IQ teams like Toronto makes. Can Al Horford current contract be a bad value play as well as a bad contract? Yes. See Philadelphia. For us, no. Why? Look at our roster. Look at the options we have. We at the lack of quality depth. Look at our style of play which is favorable to Al's play. Why is it not for Philly? Look at their style of play. They don't run shit through the center till just recently when Simmons got hurt, we always run shit through our bigs with top action which is why Dedmon is effective with us but not so much with SAC who wanted him down-low. Philly also has limited cap room, they needed to change things up and Al's salary for even how good he is, just is too much for them to take. We just aren't them. We can do things differently. Look, I don't expect to see eye to eye with you on this but I think this is a GREAT value play even if it's a bad contract where we both agree on. Simple as that.
  15. It don't matter, he's a high-end asset at 10 million in a market where nearly everyone will have cap space. He can be moved easily! Collins caphold can be waived at any moment during FA before he makes his decision. If we sign Giannis, goodbye John. We know it's a bad contract. No one is arguing against it. Not even me. What I am saying is, it's not a bad value play. It's a great value play. A bad value play is Parsons or Turner. A great value play is Marc Gasol or Serge Ibaka.
  16. Sap wouldn't be a bad move at all. I've said that in the past he wouldn't be bad but the issue is, Sap has suitors. He's not easy to get with just money. There are about three teams who are hot on Sap with actual starting PT including the team who already has him in Denver who wants to resign him from everything I've gotten. New York wants him and as a starter PHX is trying to get out of a contract (Oubre) to get Sap MIN has him listed as their #1 FA target. All want him as a starter. That's why I keep telling you guys. The marketplace isn't it. Ain't no one interested in us who high quality but Joe Harris and he's got suitors galore. That's why I am like, get one of the COVID impacted teams players like Horford/Dougie/Looney/etc.
  17. Richardson is not picking up his option. He's worth 15-18 million on the open market and he's in his prime. That's like 99.9999% likely to opt out and if he opts in, we can easily move him as an quality asset which is why he won't opt out. We can maneuver with capholds. That's low level GMing that even BK can do. It doesn't take any talent much less us who have Michelle Leftwich who's one of the best at the cap in the NBA. We easily have a max contract. We can move on from Collins if Giannis wants to sign. We can do so many different things. We have options, you are treating TS like he's a retard or something. He can easily make this work. Any low level GM can, much less a good or great one who can do a lot more with less than this.
  18. This don't got shit to do with my love for Al, this is a value play that winning teams make. We back on that low level logic shit again. But but the cap space. What are we going to do with it otherwise. Nothing! We don't really have much PT to offer. This ain't 2k
  19. Is it really an use for us? It's not. We got the cap space. It doesn't impact our 2021 max room either. We need to jump on it.
  20. 27-28 million and 88 million in total with a 10 million dollar out in his last year. At the end of the day, these are the moves teams like Toronto make and why they are winning and why we are losing and getting clowns who have no value like Evan Turner. Who in FA can get is 5 WAR as a backup center that would be willing to sign with us? Toronto is paying Ibaka one Gasol and combination of 50 million dollars. One is a backup and both are high value vets. We gotta start making winning moves. Even Sund, BK and the guys like that did this when we took on Jamal Crawford and Mike Bibby. We can't be on some, if you want us, you will come shit. The east isn't easy to get into the playoffs right now. These bottom teams are getting stronger. Brooklyn is adding Durant. Stop that low level rebuilding mode logic
  21. You can be a fanboy forever to get with the program that we got a lot of cap and we need to use some of it. Deals like this, help us as it gives us high WAR players for little to nothing but cap space which we got in abundance and with a weak FA market, this is our only choice to add talent without giving anything up while gaining assets. If we can land Cole Anthony and Horford and all it took was a couple of 2nds and Dedmon, do it!
  22. It wouldn't for 2021 but it will for even the max for 2020 but there is no one that can get the max in 2020 available truly. Hawks currently have 60 million in cap space out of 115. Richardson 10 and Horford is 27. Dedmon is 13 going out. 23 million for 2020. 2021 is projected to be 125, we have 43 million for 2021. Obviously, our 1sts this year is expected to add salary as well. So we would likely be right around 35-37 million for 2021. We might have to shave a million but that should he easy to move money.
  23. If he was cheaper, he wouldn't be available for extremely cheap either. He's still productive even as a wrongly used player as Philly is doing right now.
  24. I am pretty sure Philly would rather the 1st to trade in this draft over Richardson as a wing is extremely difficult to get on the open market and trade market right now and to be a filler might be undervaluing him too much in the current marketplace. Also, they need to limit their salaries as much as possible.
  25. I like these four off-season moves a lot: Draft Obi Toppin in the top 5. Trade Bruno, Dedmon, and cash considerations for PHI 2020 1st rounder (OKC), Horford, and Richardson Move up a bit around 15-19 range to get Killian Hayes or Cole Anthony if they slip. Draft Tille with our 2nd rounder. Trae/Anthony or Hayes/Teague Reddish/Kevin/FA or Bembry Hunter/Richardson/FA or Graham Collins/Toppin/Tille Capela/Horford/Skal 1-13 with insane depth. 1-10 can all be + WAR players. Best depth in the eastern conference with Toronto. Finally a team that can win around Trae Young.
