To be honest, this was no different a week ago or even two weeks ago. I was just being stupid and thinking maybe a miracle can happen and hoping people with their minds made up will have a change of heart. At the end of the day, Atlanta will sell us that contending is most important but there was another team that said the same last year and we see where they are today. I am not saying shit because I am hater. I don't want to dislike anyone playing the sport they love. Not at all but I gotta keep it real as this is a 300 million decision that he could costly if wrong and the probability of it being wrong is high honestly. I watched this kid, many times. He was on my radar from the jump. Impressed me at the preseason games v. the Ignite. But after watching many games, I fell out of love with the kid. I still think he's a tremendous talent. It's hard to find 7ft+ guys like him. He's rare but he doesn't have an offensive position. He's raw and while he's legit defensively, he has issues as a drop coverage 5 and as a post-up defender and this is in Australia. Not France or a good Euro Cup team or much less, Euroleague team who are elite outside of the NBA. This was a major problem for me. He does show flashes and he does show clear strengths like his transition offense but it's really limited. It's gonna take awhile. He's gonna have to work like JJ did and even did, he's gonna have to work harder because he's not as good as JJ was. The risk is higher than the reward and @1, that's usually not the case. This could go bad and fast. I wouldn't mind taking him at 10 but 1, that's why I have been out over the last couple of months with Sarr. His offensive floor is way too low. The only player with a lower offensive floor is Ryan Dunn.

I learn from my mistake with Cam Reddish not to buy into flashes anymore. I watch the games and I want to see impact consistency and I don't mind a bad game or two but I need to see impact. The difference with you guys is, ya'll love calling me out of my name with the Murray trade and all types of bullshit I told you [] wasn't gonna work. I don't believe in Sarr. Could he be a star, yes. Could he even win an MVP, yes but with his expectations, we gotta do this shit 100% right or we can f*** him up before he ever gets started. One thing about Giannis is Kidd had him playing PG, 2, 3, 4, 5, shit. Kidd, had him playing everywhere trying to figure out how to best use him. He had that chance because his team was shit. So much grow is in the process.

[insult removed] Sarr offensive metrics are shit. He got the same damn draft grade on nbadraft.net as Cam Reddish. This kid has tremendous talent but so did Cam. Instead of bringing up Cam, you should think about what if Cam is Alex.

JJ as a prospect who was raw on offense was MILES better than Sarr on offense. Just for perspective. We are years away right now. JJ is in year 3. Year 4 is when he should come close or breakout. Year 5 maybe. I still think he needs to be a big wing where his offensive value just isn't expected to be that high. Defend and hit corner 3s. It's hilarious that Sarr supporters think others are being ridiculous. [insult removed]

Giannis was what, 3 years in looking like Smoove offensively at times. Sarr is FAR away from his offensive ceiling and while I believe it's high if he can hit, he's extremely far from it right now. When his offense finally comes together and that's also an if, it could be 2028. Sarr supporters will sell you a dream none of us will ever live to see without some good ole fashion luck and good decision-making.

His offensive game is truly rough. Synergy doesn't always tell the true story but his shit is rough. He doesn't have a legit interior game outside of dunks. He doesn't handle post contact well at all but he can dribble and handle contact well. He's a highly perimeter-centric player like Wemby but Wemby is good at some big man things and he's pretty good at perimeter things.

I keep telling them, he either needs a lot of time in College Park which isn't likely as he's a 1st overall pick or we need to tank and get our 2025 pick back from SA and get 4 and 8 as well for Trae. If SA don't want to play ball correctly, Detroit will.

This is honestly the best pick if we could keep Trae but it's a massive reach at 1st overall. Massive reach unless Edey just kills it at the combine next week and makes it clear, that you gotta take him 1st overall to pair with Trae but Atlanta is not doing that. Sarr is someone they are VERY high on. This is what I know and while they liked Edey, he wasn't even a lock at 10 yet, in fact, they were looking at guards the most at 10 like Reed who they really liked. Atlanta is really locked in with OTE and Sarr is someone they been coveting. If they don't take Sarr at #1. Color me shocked.

When the news drops... just saying. We need to be honest, Trae is gonna be a Spur The NBA gonna make sure we get our 1st back for next year and that we got a lot of picks for this year. At the end of the day, this is what the NBA does. Depending on how bad attendance is next year, they gonna give us a top 3 pick next year.

Edey is an elite Helper and that's done. So I am back to trade Trae if the deal is good. You should have known this was going to be the direction. The Hawks did a lot of work on Sarr when he was with OTE. He's gonna be the pick. Even I knew it from the jump. So it's time to move to the next train station which is bye Trae. We could still have a shot at Edey but his value ain't what it was gonna be with Trae. Might even be better now since he would be playing next to Sarr long term on defense. We probably need to move JJ, he's too much like Sarr and doesn't have Sarr upside at all plus without Trae, he might not cook as much. Get another future 1st or get another big wing.

I've said this before, if we move Trae, Reed Sheppard is my guy. I love the way he plays. He fits Quin scheme to a T, he's not a true PG but he makes decisions fast, can shoot, can run the PnR, plays efficient ball and understands the game at a high level plus he's an excellent defender even if his measurables aren't much I even think Sarr fits Quin scheme. I never said Trae is trash. Anything but.

He does and Tony is gonna see the crowds die but if you go long term, Trae might not be long for Atlanta.
