Talent is another point that separates Embiid in this discussion. He hasnt made it out of the 2nd round on some pretty loaded teams(well more loaded than who he is compared to). Embiid has been surrounded by multiple allstars, for what, a half decade+?

NFL players generally only sit out for more money(random instances aside IE Rodgers). I really do wonder how much more runway these NBA players have with the fans.

Have we found a single good/reasonable target for the TPE yet? Looking at teams who are over the tax and might like to shed something and it still doesnt look great lol. Or at this point is it just wait until someone needs to move money in another trade?

I'm sure I am missing something that the more in depth posters could mention, but it doesn't make a whole lotta sense. If you include Franz, it makes sense for the Raptors, but not so much for the Magic. If you dont include Franz, it makes sense for the Magic, but not for the Raptors. Idk what else would really be an option. Fultz? Suggs? Why would the Raptors want that?

What even would the Magic trade? Franz, Carter, Anthony(Cole), and picks? This one feels like the obvious "this is a negotiating tactic" type of inclusion. I mean, Paolo/Pascal/Black isnt a terrible place to build off of, but thats almost a 10 year gap in ages, with not a whole lot else around them.

Rowland(?) I think was talking about how it's not so much Dame sitting out as it is his agent basically blackballing whatever team trades for him with declining pre-draft workouts and free agents. Which, come on Silver. Do something about that.

Lowry(or Herro) plus Robinson for Dame works financially. What if that is the deal? What if Dame is purposefully making it so the Heat dont have to give up Martin, the young guys, or picks by completely kneecapping the market?
