Quin isnt Bud, but it is interesting that there are some similarities to their careers if this happens. Hopefully Quin can ask Bud for some guidance. Both had good success with their first teams but couldnt actually win in the playoffs. Both faced juggernauts so who knows who exactly is to blame. Both left that team and went/are going to a team with a star that needed to be unlocked and have a culture built around them. Bud had a "very good coach but he doesnt win in the playoffs" reputation which was well earned. Again, hopefully Quin has a good enough relationship with Bud to get a few pointers to help with the path hes on.

Not that it really matters, but I don't remember bud doing all these public engagements. Lloyd has been everywhere. Not that it matters to the Xs and Os but it's very endearing. I never felt like bud was part of this community.

I just don't see how Dennis has much of a future with this team. Maybe if he continued to grow, but I'm not sure I really see that.

Schlenk is very awkward. Listen to him on 92.9 where there is zero pressure. He's the same way as he is in press conferences. Speaking to the media isn't really the biggest requirement for a GM. Sure, he might not instill confidence in some, but if he's doing a good job building the team....does it matter? I'll throw out another Atlanta GM, Copolella. He was strange, rubbed people the wrong way, but put together a pretty stellar roster for the braves as we're now seeing. *Cheating* aside, I'd take a weirdo GM if he can do his job that well.

I'd rather be a team that loses because they have a plan than a team that loses because they suck and can't reach their goals.

If Brunson is ever a starter on this team, I hope he's the worst one we've got. This isn't a negative or meant to demean him. Every top team has that one "meh" starter. I'm just saying I hope after the rebuild he's not one of our top options. We better have some better starters than Brunson. But he could prove me wrong and be a great player. We will see. I like him as an off the bench player.

Exactly the opposite sir. That's kind of the whole point. The only viewpoint(in nearly every thread) is KB hating the team, Schlenk, ressler, etc, with a whole bunch of non sequitors thrown in. I'd love to have discussion here. That's my issue. We don't, because this back and forth started by KB is pretty much every single discussion. It's tiring. I don't see how you put someone on ignore that dominates 90% of discussion on here. How much discussion stems from berating everyone into thinking Schlenk and ressler are cheap bastards who are running everything into the ground. I don't come here to discuss how everything sucks and were going to be the worst team forever. I don't see the point. That's all I'm saying.
