Well the Suns want to pitch Lebron by giving him Melo. Idk if we could work a Salmons trade to them for anything. I agree its hard to find, and Im not asking for anyone at the level of those two guys. But someone that can even slightly create for themselves would be nice to have. A backup is perfectly fine. We have 4 3 and D or just 3 point shooters right now. Carroll, Thabo, Korver, and Jenkins. Were looking more like Coack K's offense than the Spurs. 3's and manufactured offense. Which is fine 90% of the time. But those nights where you just can't hit anything, you lose bad, because you've got no one that can come in a create a few buckets to keep or dig you out of a hole. And I don't want us going completely frigid in the playoffs. Id just like a wing on the bench that we can put in and get some instant offense with. Just in case. Maybe thats why we've been looking at Bazemore.

I understand all that but if were talking about the "Spurs system", they have a few secondary ball handlers that aren't ball stoppers. Im not talking about a Melo type player. I mean like a Ginobli or a Kawhi. Of course I know we can't get those caliber of players willy nilly, but Im sure Bud wouldn't mind having another player that can get to the hole when our team isn't hitting their shots. Unless we plan on running 2 PG looks a lot, I don't see any guys on the roster right now that are capable of that.

I like Eric. I think he has the potential to really help this team. I know he is small, and we have 3 good PGs, but I think Eric is just the talent you cant pass up. All of our guards are young and have trade value. We could find a way to make it work. He's a handful on both sides of the court

Yes, but even pre injury Lou wouldn't have been a great fit for this offense and at least he can do things other than shoot. I highly doubt we gave away Bebe to get out of Lous contract, just to throw another 6 million at a 6th man that offers nothing but scoring.

Lou Williams had better numbers than this guy. I get it that Lou was small, but Nick plays zero defense, so who cares if he is 6'6"?

We've talked about Jordan Hill a lot this year too, but it wouldn't be a massive surprise if you opened hoops hype and saw we signed him?

1. They can't force him to sign in Indy 2. Why would he sign there when he could arguably get more? 3. If no one wants to give him what he is worth now and lose nothing but cap space , why would they want to give up draft picks to get him later?

Can someone post the stats of Horford and Millsap playing together? I would think playing with Horford might cut down on Millsaps use. Not to the point where I'd trade him willy nilly, because he is still a huge asset to the team, but I'd consider it.

I dont think they'd go through all the trouble of courting him if they didn't want him in the locker room. I think they just don't want to use up all their cap in George, Hibbert and Stephenson for the foreseeable future. Larry Bird seemed to vouch for the kid, so I think we could make it work. I'd rather have a young Stephenson at 10 million than a run down Deng.

Im trying to think about the Centers Monroe would have to face in the playoffs. Gortat? That could be a slight issue. Hibbert? Yeah Im not worried about him Bosh? Brook Lopez? He'd be a problem for anyone Am I missing someone that will pose a real legitimate threat to Monroe in a 7 game series? Granted, its far from ideal, but I think it is the type of situation you can make it around.
