  1. We played a terrible Brooklyn Nets team and a less than 100% John Wall led Wizards team before getting smashed by Cleveland. The point you brought up really isn't positive man.
  2. Korver has a history of not showing up in the playoffs. I remember Bulls fans saying the exact same thing when he was coming off the bench for them. Despite the fact that Korver has played the best he's ever played as a Hawk, the trend continues. And Korver ultimately became a liability too many times in the playoffs. The opposing teams did a great job taking him out of his game offensively and his defense wasn't good enough to justify him being on the court. Some teams can afford to have a starter not score well in the playoffs because they have guaranteed offense from at least two other positions. OKC for example has had Thabo and Roberson in their starting line ups in the past and would be OK because Durant, Westbrook, and later Ibaka would pick up the slack offensively. Atlanta doesn't have that luxury.
  3. B- . The Hawks got bigger but I'm not sure if Splitter is enough against Cleveland. Golden State is a better rebounding team and they still got worked on the boards against them. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that Eddy plays next season because there is a chance he'll be in the D-League. We have a wing scorer in Tim Hardaway Jr who should improve like many players under Bud. The problem is that we don't have a clear, concrete starter at the 2.. Korver should be coming off the bench. Unless an improved Hardaway starts, I don't know if I like the SG situation. And we have a clear need at the 3 spot. Demarre was our best player in the playoffs and one of our best wing defenders. Without him, our wing defense goes from having three good defenders to two. In comparison, Golden State has FOUR defenders(Thompson, Iguodala, Barnes, and Green) they were able to throw at teams last season. The NBA is a perimeter player driven league and being able to defend the perimeter is a MUST if you want to win a championship.
  4. Interior defense isn't going to be that big of a problem. Their perimeter defense will offset some of the deficiencies Monroe brings to the table inside. Remember, Zaza starting didn't stop the Bucks from having one of the best defenses in the league.
  5. They have a lot of versatility now in regards to line ups. Especially when it comes to scoring. I wouldn't do that If I was them.
  6. The East will definitely be tougher next season. No doubt about it. And Milwaukee signing Monroe is a REALLY nice move. The Bucks had an elite defense with Zaza playing center. You add a low post scoring threat like Monroe and Parker's offensive contributions, the Bucks have a very nice core. Plus Giannis and Middleton will keep improving.
  7. The Bucks have a really nice core going forward. Wouldn't surprise me if they end with one of the top four seeds with Monroe and Parker contributing. Good get by Milwaukee.
  8. Don't know if our rebounding is good enough against Cleveland. We need a starting SF and I'm not a fan of Korver starting. The roster still has some question marks. Hopefully Tavares comes over.
  9. Terrible draft choice.

    Next Best Move

People really need to go look up Splitter's injury history. It's obvious people aren't aware of his inability to stay healthy.
  11. Carroll was the best player in the playoffs for Atlanta and he was one of our best defenders. We currently don't have a starting calibur 3 on this team. This front office has some work to do.
  12. Atlanta taking Splitter enables the Spurs to have enough cap space to go get Aldridge. Atlanta pretty much did the Spurs a favor.
  13. Looks like Carroll is going to get PAID this summer. Danny Green just got a 4 year, 45 million deal from the Spurs. Teams are going to be going after Demarre who is the next great 3 and D wing available.
  14. Atlanta's name isn't attatched with any of the teams meeting with the bigger free agent players. I honestly think they're only focused on resigning their own.
  15. Exactly. Hennigan knows exactly what he's doing.
  16. Wait, why are people assuming Ferry wouldn't try to bring Millsap back? Ferry was never in a situation similar to this one so who the hell knows what he'd do.
  17. Might as well move Al to the 4 spot and grab a Center like Biyombo. Not a fan of giving Paul that much.
