  1. Yep, right now they have Burke, Exum, Neto, Hill, Mack. We should (have) ask(ed) one.
  2. Thing is, I'm worried that by giving Al a max contract we'll lose that cap flexibility vital to an average team like us (thanks God) not willing to tank. ...but I can't find many alternatives.
  3. Hope we can stretch a 4y MAX over 5 years... Otherwise I'd really lend an ear to the market
  4. Role players are the best way to deal with a low quality draft, especially in one with many teams in rebuilding process (willing to take high risk- high return activities). Not sure Prince would have been available later on...
  5. I'd say the profile would be a guy with experience and adaptability to our style... Please NO Dellavedova, NO MCW; My guess is Felton or Sessions.
  6. I don't see him as a good fit in Dallas' system...
  7. Oh, wait, don't get it wrong, Brewer is much a better player than Petteway, was just comparing their fearures: energy on D, volatile 3 pt shooting, swiftness (too much).
  8. lawson is stupid but at least is healthy... And Houston is an already shaped team with lots of high rated assets, they can afford a late-1st round pick loss better than us.
  9. Of course nothing is guaranteed, but if it works out we can have a rare arrow in our quiver...
  10. But how can you say a foul is a hack-a foul or a normal game foul? E.G. every time DeAndre Jordan sets a screen you-defender- push him and cause a foul. Referee can't say it is hack, and you cut him off the game anyway (as for hack-a-Jordan), without being "punished" with your rule.
  11. I think Petteway has good role player skills but uses them as a hero player. Like a young Corey Brewer.
  12. We MUST work on Edy, he started playing basketball only few years ago... Height can't be taught.
  13. I'm not so pessimistic. let's state Cap will rise to about 80 mlns. There are plenty of options: - If Splitter turns out to be a good C in our system (few doubts) and will be healthy (many doubts) there's the possibility to trade Millsap; - If Splitter turns out to be a good C in our system (few doubts) and will be healthy (many doubts) we can trade Horford in a sign'n'trade; - If Splitter turns out to be a good C in our system (few doubts) and will be healthy (many doubts) we can trade him to teams looking for future cap space; -We can trade Teague; -We can trade cheaper players to create cap space, and go for a FA. I think this team looks like the pre-Harden Houston: a team with great cap flexibility, many assets, good young players (actually just Dennis), all the draft picks and, thanks God, not in the place for tanking. The Rockets were just waiting for a big free agent to sign with them, and they had their Harden. Let's see "what happens to us".
  14. Dennis is our future, not Teague. He'll be our all-star player we're missing, has innate basketball instincts which can't be taught.
  15. Gallinari is (VERY) injury prone and in contract year, giving a 1st round pick means committing suicide.
