Btw I'm really trying to figure out the rationale behind Al's choice:
- I would have understood if he did it for money, but we offered 136 in 5y vis-à-vis 113 in 4y. Now, given that I don't think he expects to earn a $(136-113)=23 M yearly salary when he'll be 34, it's not about $$$$$$$$.
- He has always claimed to be a PF. Now that we finally offered him that spot, he chose Boston, a team w/o a true C (or a decent one). So it's not about his role.
- He didn't like Atl signing Dwight Howard. There's nothing wrong with it, I would have understood. But for god's sake, why he didn't point that out EX ANTE? And we know he didn't, otherwise we would have not bothered trying to resign him and trading Millsap yesterday.
So what? Why?
