  1. If they'd except it, I'd just give them Bey and call it a day (and a protected pick). With JC, gone, Bey gone, you kind of want to keep Jalen, but I understand, you have to give up something to get something.
  2. They should let us keep JJ then..lol. I have no idea why I'm so upset about the possibility of losing JJ when we are getting an Allstar in return, but we will be weak at the PF spot. OO isn't a PF neither is KAT. I guess they'll play Hunter at the four at times ? I'll trust they'll fill in the spot.
  3. What do you believe the likelihood of the KAT deal happening is? Is JJ for sure part of the deal? @NBASupes
  4. I'm all for KAT. Trae with an allstar center who can stretch the floor and we keep OO. That's big. Hopefully they can find a way to keep Jalen.
  5. So you are for trading young assets away just to get a big name that may not move the needle either way.
  6. Yeah, I feel the same regarding the young guys. That's why I'm okay just standing pat to see how these guys play under Synder.
  7. I'll say this. Every year they talk about a big trade and nothing happens. This time I'm hoping nothing happens cause I don't think Jaylen Brown moves the needle for us. We are supposed to have a lineup of Trae, Bogi,Jaylen Brown, ???, OO? That team is undersized at every position and no starting quality PF. Treadmill!
  8. If you're a former 2 time All NBA player you're generally considered a star. He's definitely not a superstar, but a star nonetheless. SAP never made one all-nba team to my knowledge.
  9. If he's cheap, I'd be open to bringing him on a non guaranteed deal. I'm a big believer in second chances, if he's truly rehabilitated and the Hawks have done their research and decide to give him a second chance, I'm okay with it. I can't judge someone by their worst actions and then not be able to forgive them for when they truly repent and make a change. It'll be a PR nightmare for the Hawks, but again if they've done their research and made sure he's on the right path, I'm okay with the Hawks giving him a second chance. It also seems his wife (ex-wife)? Says he's on the right path. https://www.si.com/nba/hornets/news/miles-bridges-wife-doubles-down-hes-not-a-woman-beater
  10. I liked Ty Ty from last years draft. His best skill is his passing and I thought he could have some defensive upside. Haven't tracked his development or lack there of in Houston though.
  11. Brad Rowland brought that up in his podcast. That'll be something if he comes back, but I don't see it happening.
  12. I wouldn't give up all those players for KAT. I'd probably give up Murray and Capela and some future assets for him. I think KAT and OO would pair well. OO would probably be guarding more PF though and KAT centers. On offense, OO would be more of a traditional center roll, while KAT pick and pop.
  13. Yeah, but he's a lot more talented than anyone outside of Trae on our current roster. Go back and look at his playoffs numbers, they aren't bad. Looks like he started to figure some things out with Denver over the last three games. I said the Lakers in my original post - tired brain. Statistically he was better in 2021/2022. Playoffs are up and down. Look at Trae, some here still think he's trash because he had one bad series against Miami. I'm just being fair and objective when it comes to Towns talent. He would be the second most talented player on our roster and yes, I def have concerns about his fit with Trae on the defensive end, but to act like OO is better than him is insane in my book. OO may be eventually better when considering defensive impact, but as of right now, I'd ship his ass right on off for KAT.
  14. You guys just weren't paying attention. His defense had already slipped as he took on more offensive responsibility with the Spurs. Spurs fans, that aren't hating, will attest to that. It's funny how we all have our sacred lambs on this team. I love OO for his defense, but I'd trade him for KAT any day of the week. KAT was destroying the Lakers in the playoffs before he fouled out of course. With Trae he'd be a beast because Trae would draw so much attention and get him in the ball in much more favorable spots. The defense would be the biggest concern though, but offensively we'd probably be best in the league with the way Trae makes his bigs better. Haven't heard of any attitude issues with KAT other than with Jimmy. Jimmy was a menace on that team. I haven't seen Towns quit one time in the playoffs. He's struggled in some games, but I never seen him be like coach take me out the game ala Ayton.
  15. I'm just numb. I'll play the wait and see game before overreacting, but we all knew that someone had to go with the current roster and cap situation.
  16. None of us are stable Spud. I'm definitely a mental disaster right now .
  17. I do not. We are all adults, well some of us are there maybe kids here..lol, if you get in a frenzy over someone posting something that doesn't happen, that's on you. Your expectations should be set that the insiders are posting information that is fluid discussions between the Hawks and whoever. No need to call them out and get in arguments. The entire thread is for entertainment purposes and reading people getting in d*ck measuring contests with them isn't really efficient for those of us who just go to thread to get the latest "talks". If you want to do that, take it to the private messages and stop cluttering up the board or, "gasp" create a thread for insider back talk.
  18. Man for real! I was hoping the Hawks would take him with their second round, but I got to do some research on the big they traded for.
  19. He's solid. He was in my guys I thought the Hawks could pick, but I guess I wanted a bigger wing? He's good, not great at everything and showed a big leap between his freshmen and sophmore season. He plays excellent defense and may help with the point of attack once he develops. Needs to put on more weight though.
