  1. Considering Trae is a part of the team, looks like you should be rooting for him instead of pointing out every negative of what was a pretty masterful game going up against the number 2 rated offense and defense in the league. You are entitled to your opinion, but stay over there in misery island.
  2. The talking heads are not talking about this, but to this point in the series, Trae has been the best player on the floor. He has cut down on his turnovers AnD he's playing decent defense.
  3. These talking heads are twisting themselves into knots to not give Trae credit. They've already written their narratives, "Hawks want to trade Trae; he is a cancer in the locker room, his teammates hate him; what can AtL get for him? His stock is so low? This man just carried his team against the title favorites and got the Resslers an extra playoff game. They ain't trading him. Also, jaylen Brown didn't defend Trae at all and gave him all that space to get his shot off. The above is what Jay Williams was talking about. Get that mfer off my screen.
  4. Can't wait to hear what he got to say in the morning.
  5. I know it's a small sample size, but considering the opponent for Trae to average these numbers is insane. This mfer is a superstar and I don't care what any of the haters have to say.
  6. Superstar performance from Trae. Even the old punching bag JC came through. Got to win in Atl!
  7. How about you go to the games and stop making shit up. Trae made one turnover and tonight and on his way to the bench during a time out I saw him tell teammates and coaching staff it was his fault. He then played better. You're just making shit up because you don't like a person you've never met and are sitting here calling them arrogant. Get off the freaking internet and stop make accusations about people you don't know.
  8. Was at the game tonight. Dre played great. He played with way more fight than I've seen from him. Trae - played pretty damn good tonight too. `15 assists to 1 turnover. He started out slow with his shot making, but he controlled the game with his playmaking. Looks like he's started to figure out Boston, but it's a little too late. I'll add he also got on to Collins for passing up a wide open shot. He has to take those. Just watching Boston in person, they just execute so well on both ends. The Hawks have to work so much harder to get what they want on either end. It was a fun game we just came up a little short. I can't wait to see Quin with a full summer to implement his schemes. The Hawks do have some good pieces. The main thing is fixing the perimeter defense.
  9. It was implied KG01 hence the playing Robert Williams More
  10. Trae had two blocks and a steal. He played good defense for him and won us the game in the 4th. I've missed this version of him. If he's figured something out with Boston, it may make them play Williams more which will make Boston's spacing worse. Murray has been great. Bench mob came through. I'll add that Dre played good defense tonight. He had some miscues but was showing fight out there. Collins and Capela played good defense too. I got tickets to Sunday's game. I'm going to be so pumped if we win. I still don't have the same confidence in this team as years past because I still think they are learning Quin's system. Really want this win on Sunday though.
  11. So eight players vote for Trae and this deserves a thread? Do better Supes.
  12. Avatar change incoming.
  13. lol mine will be permeant since I don't know where to find my current one. I found it on twitter.
  14. around 40% doesn't equal 40%. So yeah if Trae is 37.5% or above below you get to pick my avatar.
  15. I too am way more concerned about his shooting. If you look at his career thus far, he's up and down with his three point shooting every other year. next year, he'll probably be around 40% based off those trends.
  16. assist:turnover takes out game to game variance. I get the gist of what you're saying, but Trae has a fairly good assist to to turnover ratio. Anything above 2 is good imo. What make him such a good playmaker is his willingness to make those great passes. We don't want to take that away from him either. Playmaking is his best trait. You have to take the good with the bad and hope for improvement.
  17. We are discussing the loss to Boston.
  18. I have to say that a lot of Trae's turnovers are people breaking up lobs. He does have some home runnish ones too, but when he makes those we are happy with him. The entire he lead the league in turnovers is a terrible argument though. A better approach would be assist to turnover ratio where he's 2.47 to 1, I believe, and that's really solid. not saying he doesn't need to improve them, but just saying he's bad for leading the league is not a good argument imo.
  19. Trae had a bad game. Does he have flaws? Hell yeah. Would I trade him? nope. It's just one bad game and he struggles with teams that switch like Boston. He has to improve. If he wasn't slumping with his shot, it wouldn't be a problem, but he is. He has to make better decisions. The entire team needs to play better and I hate how some use one game to start up whatever agenda they have against Trae or other players. It's always why blame this player or that player. We should blame them all for this mediocre season. Trae has proven time and time again he can step up for us. Those three play-in wins and the ECF run mean nothing to some, but they mean something to me. He's helped get us to the playoffs. He just has to step it up a bit. I hope to see a much better effort in game two from everyone.
  20. Just strange. I hadn't gotten to the Fields interview. Those comments just threw me in a rage.
