  1. While I'm on a roll, IN FACT, Travis made the trade up in Washington that he WANTED to make in Atlanta. He just substituted Beal for Young, lmao
  2. Like i said BEFORE the draft: Trae demands a trade 3 months into the season.
  3. Huh? The Wizards unloaded their version of a scorer that does nothing for the team as a whole, his contract, and got SIX second rounders, FOUR pick swaps, AND CASH. Dumped over the hill Chris Paul and got Jordan Poole in the process, PLUS, future draft assets, and you say he ain't blowing the doors off? Heck, he blew the house down.
  4. The only way this makes sense is if the Hawks have someone desperate on the line waiting to take that huge Murray contract off their hands.
  5. Cut Bufkin's hair, shave a little bald spot in the back, tattoo him up, make him shoot right handed and you got a Murray clone.
  6. Thats even worse. A first rounder that ain't as good as Murray, joining a roster that won 41 games WITH Murray.
  7. Heck, they could've just drafted this kid and kept that bag of money and the 3 first rounders they gave up for Dejuante.
  8. Everything is not lost. The Hawks didn't make a move but they will change uniforms for the 100th time since being in Atlanta to distract the peasants. lmao
  9. I literally told a relative that early today. Its VERY plausible Murray plays one more year in Atlanta and reups with the Spurs, those 3 first round picks and Wembayama.
  10. This signing was soo bad that I wasn't even aware of it.
  11. 1 NBA championship from 1958 in a EIGHT team league is not a dynasty. Because its the ONLY Hawks championship, it feels like a dynasty, lmao
  12. The Hawks Have Changed Everything, Except Trae Young Regardless of how the play-in unfolds for Atlanta, I don’t see Young as the cornerstone of a title team. https://www.theringer.com/nba/2023/4/10/23676419/trae-young-atlanta-hawks
  13. I wasn't being a sarcastic either. Trae has been a poor 3 point shooter even before he came into the league. His good statistics come from VOLUME. He has never been a efficient 3 point shooter. Trae can take 10 three pointers, miss them, but then make a logo 3 and all is forgiven with his fans. Skip Bayless may not be liked because he criticizes Trae's game, but Skip is not lying. The stats don't lie. He is also a turnover machine. Always has been. This year isn't nothing new. Skip is a Oklahoma homer, defended Baker Mayfield even, but he just don't like Trae just because? lmao Its always excuses made for Trae. If Hunter, Murray or anybody else had his stat line and they are supposed to be the "superstar", they would get slammed. Folks also want to point at Trae's average high scoring averages and assists and pretend it tells the whole story. Westbrook is the same. They are high scorers and assist guys because they dominate the ball, not because they are EFFICIENT at doing it. Two fired head coaches and a GM who never wanted him and a ownership group that has told Quinn he can do whaever he want can't all be wrong. Trae is not looked at favorably outside of Atlanta. Everybody is lying on this dude according to the diehards on Hawksquawk. GM's who have put out that they don't like him just have to be lying, don't they? This stuff is pure comedy.
  14. I didn't realize it until Skip Bayless brought it up: Trae Young ranked 131st in the league in 3 point shooting percentage this past season. I looked it up and saw that he also was 30th in 3 point attempts. Thats a lot of clankers. Combine that with leading the league in turnovers and folks wonder why the Hawks ownership told the front office that anybody can be traded from this current Hawks team?
  15. The Hawks have good players. Bogi is still there. A.J. is still there. The Hawks have talent, the problem is the offensive backcourt isolation heavy with Trae and Murray taking turns taking on the whole defense.
  16. Jalen Brown for Trae Young is a good trade any day. The Hawks would be lucky to pull that off straight up. Boston would want more.
  17. The three teams involved shaking it up and the Hawks get a bigger defender to pair with Murray in the backcourt. Murray slides to point guard and you change the offense to more of a motion offense and get away from the isolation sets in the backcourt. I got ahead of myself, this trade is mainly about shaking it up which the three teams involved most likely want to do this off season.
