  1. Exactly! They want the 30 point a night, do the" Ice Trae Shimmy " Trae Young which was a very inefficient way of running a offense. Saying the other team members "stepped up" is a bold lie and yet another attempt to place Trae on a pedastal. I will say this, Trae KNOWS he better get in line and he has because he can't fire a third head coach or a second GM.
  2. You can't step up if you can't get a rhythm because your point guard doesn't run the offense. THATS the difference. Quinn has him running the offense. I try to give the guy credit and you STILL dump on the rest off the team.
  3. Trae has become the point guard I hoped he would become. I hope he keeps this up. I always said he needs to cut 5 -10 points off his scoring average and make the WHOLE offense better with his passing ability and so far this season he has done it.
  4. I can't wait till ESPN folds and are forced to offer a stripped back product through a app. The problem is they can't get the NFL or the NBA to take a ownership stake in the venture and ESPN the company. Translated, ESPN is in trouble and Disney wants to dump them. Why is this huge? ESPN is the main channel group that is keeping the traditional cable package in place. If they fold, the cable empire is most likely over. The problem is ESPN wants either the NBA or NFL to take part ownership and foot the bill. The leagues have pushed back because they don't want to do that. NBC is lurking and wants the NFL and NBA back full time. If ESPN folds as we know it there will be a dominoe effect that should affect cable and the regional sports networks. NBC, CBS, etc. should be direct to streaming because the original intent was not for them to be on cable in the first place. They were suppose to be over the air antenna only. https://www.sportspromedia.com/news/espn-nfl-nba-mlb-nhl-streaming/?zephr_sso_ott=RKFbWw
  5. The NBA and MLB have to step in and take over these broadcasts. Bally has apparently stepped away.
  6. Anybody else having problems with the ballysports app?
  7. Thats the kind of ball movement I like. The Hawks need to learn how to win without Trae scoring big numbers. It makes the entire team better.
  8. I can't even blame Trae for this one. Yeah, he shot bad but he passed the ball and everybody got their shots. On to the next game.
  9. They still had a chance on that missed free throw but didn't block dude out.
  10. Now Trae misses a layup. Whats going on with this team?
  11. I don't even like that blond patch in his hairdo...
  12. Grimes turned into Josh Smith on that play, lmao
  13. The only thing Quinn has done different that McMillan is give Jalen Johnson a lot of playing time. Other than that, its the same offense, same rotation, same inconsistent defense. Nothing has changed other than Johnson. You can make a case that the team looks WORST under Quinn than McMillan.
  14. Look, If the Hawks want Trae to continue to pass the ball, they need to start hitting their shots....
  15. Trae shooting in the forest with players wide open on the wings... .
  16. Hunter being traded is a promotion. Sometimes its just best to start over somewhere else.
  17. You made a typo. I agree there are folks here who would rather take Trae also. Look, I want the Hawks to win a championship. I've been down this road since the 1970s. Its CONSTANT rebuilding with this team. Trae is NOT a championship caliber player to build around. It is what it is. He needs waaay too much help AND his style of play isn't conducive to winning TEAM basketball. Now Wemby, thats a player you build around. Its like they took a computer and combined Jordan, Durant, Kareem, Mutumbo, Duncan, Isiah Thompson, Steve Nash, and made that player 7 foot tall. I've never seen anything like it and I've been watching basketball since the late 1970s.
  18. You REALLY went into the minutia of the deal. I don't care if the deal was 1 first rounder, Wemby and a layaway plan. The Spurs won that deal and I trust THEM to win a chip before the Atlanta Hawks. I've been following this show in Atlanta since the late 1970s. Teams like Golden State, San Antonio, Boston, Los Angeles, Miami, etc. win chips, tear it down, rebuild and win another while the Hawks can't even GET to the NBA finals and you gonna go into the minutia of what the Spurs did? lmao
  19. Meanwhile, San Antonio tanked, got 3 firsts from Atlanta, Wemby and appear to be a monster squad, AGAIN, while the Hawks still can't even get TO a NBA finals.
