  1. The Hawks had Hawksquawk shopping at Whole Foods (Siakam, KAT) when the whole time the Hawks were shopping at ALDI...
  2. No. You are ignoring truth. What is this mystical "context" and now " didn't read the rest of the story" stuff? You keep saying nothing. You keep making blanket statements about nothing.
  3. Context? What context? Some of YOU are ignoring this whole Trae Young fiasco. You telling me that Travis Schlenk, Nate McMillan and Lloyd Pierce are all wrong? Thats the context I'm ignoring? All three got bounced after run ins with Trae or comments about Trae. All that is made up? Three years of media reports of disfunction inside the Hawks locker room are wrong? John Collins didn't state in a meeting that he didn't like how the offense was going and Trae quit up in Charlotte the very next game. All that is made up? The context is the Hawks are a business. Its a show, ENTERTAINMENT, which is why Trae can get away with what he does. Lloyd Pierce didn't say he doesn't like how Trae plays the game? NUMEROUS reports of Lloyd not liking how Trae plays the game are all wrong? Nate didn't tell Trae to either go to the shoot around or go home and got on the hot seat afterwards? Thats made up? Thats the "context" I'm ignoring? This whole thing about Trae is made up? LMAO Trae is at a crossroads in Atlanta. The Hawks have built a monster coaching staff of coaches who know HOW to play the game the CORRECT way. This gonna be wild... Hawks’ Trae Young’s foul-baiting attempts drew ire of Lloyd Pierce on NBA call https://clutchpoints.com/hawks-news-trae-youngs-foul-baiting-attempts-drew-ire-of-lloyd-pierce-on-nba-call
  4. Most likely 99 percent of the current Hawks don't like playing with him but are not gonna come out publically and say it. You see where that got two head coaches and a GM didn't you? Most of his CURRENT teammates don't wanna play with him. Folks keep trying to ignore and reinvent history with Trae as if we done forgot whats really going on with the Hawks: Trae Young's feud with coach Nate McMillan could continue to escalate. However, it seems like Atlanta Hawks players may not be on his teammate's side this time. https://bolavip.com/en/nba/NBA-News-Hawks-players-dont-side-with-Trae-Young-in-beef-with-Nate-McMillan-20221206-0015.html Head Coach Nate McMillan And Some Of Hawks Players Don't Like Trae Young Earlier, it was reported that Young and coach Nate McMillan appeared to have a falling out amid what has been a rather up-and-down season for the Hawks, and a recent update adds some unnamed players in the mix. https://fadeawayworld.net/nba-media/head-coach-nate-mcmillan-and-some-of-hawks-players-dont-like-trae-young
  5. I guess the Hawks couldn't let them 3 first round draft picks they gave up for Murray come back and bite them. It cost them John Collins in ADDITION to those picks.
  6. Are they collecting players just to trade them to Toronto for Siakam? Many moving parts with this.
  7. The Hawks continue their pursuit to land Pascal Siakam...
  8. I TRIED to tell yall to trade for Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson a couple months ago, lmao
  9. No championships since the 1950s will do that to you.
  10. " We take you live to State Farm Arena as the injured Lebron James of the Atlanta Hawks watches from the sidelines as Bronny and his teammates take on..."
  11. I remember getting criticized on this forum way back when Ressler bought the team that the mission statement was for him and Grant Hill to flip the franchise for their investors because thats what they do. Thats what private equity does. They flip companies for profit for their investors. Ressler and Hill are doing a fantastic job in that area. Going into the luxury tax is counter to that. Making profit is the priority. Thats business. Yall can always get new uniforms every other season, lmao.
  12. When you are dumping salary and not REALLY trying to win championships, yes.
  13. The semantics of WHO was dumped isn't the overriding point. The point is they are dumping salary. He knew what I meant when he chose to detract to Gallinari not being a salary dump and not the real issue at hand.
  14. https://www.sportstalkatl.com/hawks-ownership-is-financially-handicapping-quin-snyder/ From the article: "I didn’t hate the deal to acquire the All-Star point guard, but what gets my blood boiling is the one-foot-in, one-foot-out approach to running the club. Ressler says he wants to win and was willing to spend to bring a championship to Atlanta; however, everything he’s done says the opposite is true. Ressler is on record stating the luxury tax doesn’t scare him but forced a trade of Kevin Huerter in a cost cutting move that actively made the club worse in the same offseason it acquired Murray in the blockbuster deal. Moreover, this offseason has been embroiled in trade rumors with one goal in mind — shedding salary. It’s been speculated that Atlanta seeks to be under the luxury tax threshold, but there were no concrete reports… until now. According to Brian Windhorst via Brad Rowland, the Hawks are under a mandate to get out of the luxury tax."
  15. The Hawks as of Ocotober 2022 were at 110 wins per player ratio. (10 percent in the green relative to cost per wins). They stated they would go into the luxury tax to build a championship team, backed off that by salary dumping Huerter and Gallinari, and now appear to be dumping Murray. Its all over the place. The value of the Hawks is good though. Its about team value, period.
