  1. Trae been rogue his ENTIRE career and they wanna pick D.J. out?
  2. I don't get why Quin isn't running traps or presses on defense. THIS...
  3. Capela had the ugliest looking drive to the basket that probably ever seen from a center a few plays back...lmao
  4. @warcore nah, here is a recent short of the kid... I'm not THAT old, lmao
  5. Brah, I most likely been watching these clowns play basketball since before you were born. WHAT goalposts? Its a sham basketball operation.
  6. Who last went to the Eastern Conference Finals? The Hawks have regressed while teams that were at or near the bottom since then in both conferences have stepped it up. The Pacers finished 13th in the East in 2021-2022 season. 11th out of 15 teams last season.
  7. but historically not that good...
  8. welp. I guess the weaker teams keep getting stronger while the Hawks...
  9. Isiah Rider and Spudd Webb could run this team better...
  10. Popovich after this game in the back corridors of State Farm Arena before the media gets to him...
  11. The Spurs and Hawks look like they switched uniforms.
  12. This... Luka averaging 33.6 points AND 8.1 rebounds per game. Mavericks 23-17 record currently and 5.5 games back in the West.
  13. I originally had the Hawks trading Trae Young for Reaves and a couple of other players for Jalen Brown in a 3 team trade back in May of 2023. A lot has changed obvioulsy since then. The main point is the Hawks are NOT gonna deal with the Lakers unless Reaves is involved no matter how folks feel about Reaves. "Hachimura and Reeves currently have cap holds which may or may not effect this trade as far as Boston wanting to possible add a 4th team to the mix in a sign and trade. Beasley is under a team option. This is the deal: Atlanta trades Trae Young to the Lakers for Hachimura, Beasley, Reaves and the Lakers 1st round pick at 17 in this draft. Atlanta trades Hachimura, Beasley, Reaves and either their 1st round pick at 15 or the Lakers 1st round pick at 17 for Jalen Brown. The cap numbers work for all three teams. The Lakers are dealing from zero leverage as far as assets. This is the best trade possible for the 3 teams involved. Every one of these trades is about shaking up the status quo, which all three teams may be wanting to do this off season. This is a very preliminary look at this three team trade. Boston and Atlanta might have options in this trade to substitute for instance, Beasley for Collins IF the numbers work with Collins. I like the deal straight up as is because the Hawks would be essentially trading Young for Brown and can reaccess the roster after that trade is done."
  14. Trae stans try to make two different things happen at the same time: 1. Trae be the dominant scorer averaging around 30 points a game. 2. Get him help. What does help mean? Stand around while Trae scores 30 points and the offense is kept running inefficiently? The turnovers, lack of defense, hustle, whining to the refs anytime somebody breathes on him? Stand around and play defense for Trae, get rebounds and feed it to Trae? Real help doesn't do that. The Hawks have a talented roster NOW. No coach or player is the right coach or player as long as Trae has carte blanch from ownership to be who he is. The players are not gonna speak out. Evidently Quin took the money and is gonna go the status quo route. The city, media, etc. don't hold Atlanta teams accountable like Philadelphia, Boston, and other cities where the fans and media will call out the mess. It don't happen in Atlanta.
  15. I personally didn't want Trae coming out of college. I wanted Doncic because he had professional experience in Europe. Trae had a lot of question marks about his game ( takes a lot of 3 pointers), his size and lack of defense. I wanted Doncic over Trae for THOSE reasons. When they announced the trade during the draft, I didn't like it. I gave Trae the benefit of the doubt during his rookie season and actually was pulling for him. During his second season when the Hawks were building out the roster, I wanted his game to change and the hard head didn't do it. My reason for not wanting Trae changed from his questionable ability to play in the NBA, to his lack of character and nonchampionship playing style.
  16. They know exactly what they are doing. I said it when they bought the team that the Hawks and Philips Arena were a wallstreet flip and its right on schedule. They tell the fanbase what they wanna hear, increase value of the team and flip it. Trae Young FITS that thinking. Its marketing.
  17. The clothing style update from the 1800s till today,
  18. He should have been traded when he quit on the Hawks a couple of season ago up in Charlotte after the team meeting when John Collins called him out.
