Where did Chillz come from in the argument?..The proposed trade I saw was Al for either Bynum or Mihm and filler and maybe a pick..

Bynum was an 18 year old rookie straight of of high school and Kwame is a bum...Those 2 things don't make Mihm good.. I don't think Mihm is any better or worse that what we already have..The difference between him and Bynum is potential..Bynum may grow into something special, we already know what Mihm is..

Why in the world would a young and rebuilding team like the Hawks want a proven mediocre player in Mihm over a young unproven, but potentially good player in Bynum?..Besides that, if we were about to get Mihm why would we have wasted 3 million on Lo?..That just doesn't make any sense..

Its hard to call the Knicks "rebuilding"...Its an odd combination to have the highest payroll in the history of the world AND be awful..

Yeah, Charlotte and New Orleans have potential superstar point guards and Orlando has the next great big in Howard..Its sort of a toss up between those 3 teams.

I doubt we could get a Bobcats 1st rounder unless it was heavily protected...Besides that, the Bobcats have Okafor, Breznec, May, and still hold Ely's rights..Why would they want Mihm and Cook?..The really need depth at the wing spots, not upfront.

Very good..But maybe instead of selling the bench they could sell advertising on the bench..That way each of our 9 small forwards could be sitting on a different sponser.. When they went into the game for their 6.5 minutes each the sign would be exposed to the crowd.. I also think maybe they could put some sort of billboard on Sheldons fivehead...Might be a great place for a Marlboro sign...

I think it never hurts to have too many quality frontcourt guys..It allows you to play very aggressive defense without fear of foul problems and it always keeps you in position to make trades because of the general lack of bigs..

Actually, I can't see us wanting Mihm over Bynum..We just signed Lo so Mihm is not needed..Bynum would be a 3rd string project for the future.. I could see LA wanting AL and Lue..Lue is a favorite of Phil Jackson..I could also see BK wanting Parker since he wants a big point.. Mihm might be included for salary purposes then be let go by the Hawks to resign with LA..Sort of like Payton and Doleac in past BK trades..

I think most people here understand the Hawks don't want to take on anyones bad contract, however many would like a quality player with a reasonable contract along with a draft pick for AL..The writer in the article mentions Foster as a trash contract which I totally disagree with..Foster may be slightly overpaid for a backup center but he is extremely productive..I would have been thrilled with Foster and 1st for AL.

We entered the offseason with a number 5 pick, Harrington to SNT and roughly 16 million in capspace.. We drafted Sheldon.. Signed Speedy.. Signed Lo.. And look to get a single 1st rounder for AL.. While I don't really hate or love any of these moves, it just looks like we aren't getting much considering the resources we had..We look to have added 3 average players..That is not a knock, but it is not exactly the splash we had been hoping for. So, are most of you honestly happy with Lo, Speedy, and Sheldon to show for this summer?

I think Salim will get time with JJ in the backcourt..Salim is a horrible point guard, but he is really the one guy on our team that might explode for 20 in a quarter..If we can hide his shortcomings his shooting will win a few games..

KB, you never have explained how Billy made the good deal that robbed Babcock, but Billy didn't make the bad deal just a few days earlier when Bibby was traded for Jason Williams..

You left a great fit for the Hawks off your list in Butler..He is 20, plays good defense, has tons of potential and signed for less than we paid LazyLo..
