Cam is just bad on offense. Very good on defense. But man.. he should be able to at least get some of those looks guys like Thybulle and Milton(?) were getting from three. All of his shots are rushed.

I think Quinn Cook will head to the Nets. He's good friends with KD.

I like Looney. He's young, plays hard, and is a good versatile defender. I wouldn't pay him big money or anything but he'll be well worth his contract if its below 10M/y. I'd actually prefer Parsons to Whiteside lol. I feel like Whiteside has some Dwight in him as far as the lockerroom goes (Whiteside wasn't mentioned by Kirschner though, while Parsons was. I just put it together based on how he is expiring, makes enough money to fetch two of our bad contracts, and is probably available for trade).

Kirchsner said the Hawks have interest in Kevon Looney. Also interested in packaging two of their bad contracts for one bad contract (like Parsons, Whiteside) to create a spot. From his latest article, I don't have The Athletic.. just seen bits and pieces posted.

Compared to Evan Turner, Baze is an asset.

Ah, so the Taurean trade was a red herring. Schlenk needs a trade consultant. I'm someone that doesn't even like Bazemore as a player, but this just comes off as lazy at best. Stop wasting our assets.

B. The result of the draft is fine. The process to get there was terrible. Trading 8, 17, and 35 along with the Cavs protected first (really two seconds) *and* taking on salary. If you told me we did that before the draft, I would've assumed we were getting one of the big 3 prospects. Selling second round picks the day before the draft, then deciding to trade back into the second round later.

For real. Process not result.

Schlenk reminds me of TD in that he just does not give a f*** and gets his guy, which ain't the worst thing. We got took to the shed on this one.

I stand corrected. Apparently the Hawks get the pick anywhere from 31-55. Now on the downside, we just flipped #45 this year for a 7th(?) grader so hard to be too excited.

Kevin Love signed an extension for 4 years 120 million. I don't know if that's been brought up, but if anyone here would pay Love 30M a year in FA right now then you are crazy.

I've warmed up to Hunter but he isn't an exciting pick to me . I'd be more excited for our second pick even though Hunter is a really good player.
