    Agreed. I see a 3rd team being involved regardless of if it's Reaves or D-Lo. Reaves probably just gets us what we want from that 3rd team.

    Maybe it's Austin Reaves to a 3rd team just like if it was D-Lo in the trade and we get an extra pick out of it? Idk... we'd give up 150 a night if we add him to our defense.

    That's a fair point on the offensive rebounding on these shots. I bet that ratio is higher than most of his other shots. But a lot of these are getting blocked too.

    What would y'all guess Trae's FG percentage is on these side layups where he tries to go over the defender and off the glass? It's gotta be bad. My bet would be <15% and he keeps going to it. This shot has to be killing his efficiency.

    I don’t doubt that. But Ressler isn’t a scout. He doesn’t know any better unless you literally tell him you’re trading the second coming of Bird. I guarantee you, Travis had Luka and Trae graded similar and that’s what was communicated to Ressler. So of course Ressler went with money + same skill level. That’s on Travis.

    The thing about Luka is he doesn’t take a bad shot. He can get separation, or he has the size to shoot over you, or the strength to bully under the basket. Just easy buckets.

    Nope. Scouting failure. You rely on your GM to tell you if there’s a generational talent you’re about to trade. The conversation was probably that they’re on the same tier which was flat out wrong. Most of us knew this on draft night.

    We miss Dre more than most people on here want to admit. We can’t stop a sneeze on D. His replacement, Bey, is giving us nothing. And Capela is a negative at this point. And outside of Bogi and OO, we have no bench. So when you get a couple injuries, our depth is cooked.

    Build around Trae/JJ/Claxton Hopefully get lucky-ish in the lotto and take the best wing. Then you'd have DJM, AJ, Kobe, OO, and whatever we have left in draft assets to try and add that final piece...if it's not DJM.

    I think the play is to hold on to DJM until the offseason, and try to shed enough salary so we can make a splash in free agency (Claxton). Means you'd have to turn Capela and either Dre or Bogi into expiring's now.

    Don't pick a different team to cheer for. Just pick a favorite non-Hawks player to follow. It was Iverson then Kobe for me. Now it's Luka.

    I’m just going to wait and see what happens before renouncing my fandom lol Ressler doesn’t want to pay the tax so safe to assume he cares about his money. I’m sure he’s aware of the financial consequences on this franchise if its superstar walks out the door.

    Trae/Grimes/Jones/JJ/Claxton Just say F it and sell out on defense lol But seriously…those NOP picks probably end up as mid-late firsts if they have a core of DJM/Ingram/Zion. Better off seeing what happens with KAT this summer. I love what DJM has been giving us over these last few games anyways.
