  1. The point is I wouldn’t dismiss what bagley displayed in his first year vs the two years Collins spent at wake. If he or who ever is the best at the point we pick take em. Don’t force yourself to take someone ie repeat the failure in draft Childress, law, Williams and Williams.
  2. There is some but I think things will work themselves out. However if he’s the best player at where we pick them I take him and worry about the fit later. I’m hoping this bud situation resolves itself as having the next coach in place would alleviate a lot of concern luckily the majority of the players young guys would get some run in Vegasand the new coach could work with them then.
  3. May be true but those are some small sample sizes to Extract anything from. He’s an enigma cause you can’t point out what he will be and be able to do.
  4. That won’t happen but. kB I do recall saying Phoenix’s upside was better than the hawks at the moment. Apparently bud this this as well.
  5. While I like bud. He caused this mess. I would have more respect if he some how stayed to turn it around. But regardless. Schlenk is betting his future so prolly has a vision of the guy he wants leading the sideline. No need to drag it on get a future first and maybe a pick swap for this year.
  6. That’s a bad deal. No way I give you two picks just to move up and take a bAd contract. 18 and faried would suffice.

He’s a guy I would not be mad if we threw money at this summer, even in our current state. I think he’s a RFA but I’m not sure. However throw something at him it might stick.

Please no more draft and stash that hasn’t exactly worked for us. They need to focus on guys that they feel can come in right now.

Funny thing is they prolly will I don’t think the wolves have beaten them this year I could be wrong though.
  13. So okobo seems more of a scorer than a pure pg but nothing wrong with that. not sure where melton is but I’d like for us to get him with the Allen pick. From what he was before he seemed like a Swiss Army knife kinda guy decent passer rebounder a Westbrook kinda guy not that he is Westbrook or anything like that. Give me Jackson or bagley, Troy brown, melton and porter and I think that could form a very intriguing team with schro, prince and Collins.
  14. Besides Allen that is my draft board. Give or take on Jackson and bagley but point remains. That would make the hawks very intriguing in my eyes. Instead of Allen take a flyer on a pg prospect that would be hopefully take delaneys spot and play in the g league mostly.
  15. Him and stone should have been given a fair shake. If nothing else they would ensure we accomplish the goal that was set upon once other moves were executed. But hopefully Schlenk swings for the fences. A pg, sg or sf and a big.
  16. Tru but with the history that we have on our side I’d rather not be leaving anything to chance. Hell we might not even get the wolves pick this year and that’s gonna. Be a serious blow.
  17. Prolly won’t even get to pick until 5th. These needless victories and all.
  18. You keep falling back to that but that was the knock on Collins. He hasn’t been that bad and while he still has a ways to go he’s not utterly hopeless either. That said I get it everyone will be a bust except donic an Jackson.
  19. I’m not saying he isn’t talented. I question though is he top 5 material. At least with donic, ayton and bagley they have the potential to be robins and Batman’s of the draft. I don’t see that with Jackson unfourtanetly. Defensively he has the tools but I think next level he’s a guy that is good but Is prolly the fifth option and that’s being generous. I’d love to be wrong though. I stated in the begining I’d be happy with whom ever the hawks choose. Although I think bagley will more than likely be the better pro in the end.
  20. While I like jaren he’s the kinda prospect that gets people fired. At times late in the season he diaspeared. Doesn’t necessarily bode well but again none of theses guys are finished products. I think they both will need work on there jumpers.
  21. I’m in this mindset as well and yes he can be taught some defense. Will he ever be great who knows. His rebounding and offensive game should definitely translate. Like I said while not my first choice I could stomach him over some others. I think he will surprise though and seems like a bud guy. Also short of Sheldon turning the hawks into champions he was always a disappointment to me. Never should have been picked honestly.
  22. You don’t know that he or ayton will be busts. There is no indication that he can’t play defense either. Does he need work sure. That said I can stomach taking bagley over several prospects mentioned.
  23. I’m in this mindset as well barring a fantastic SL run his time prolly should be coming to a close.
