I can’t believe people wanted Bey to start on this team…his defense is so terrible and so is Bogi’s. They are basically traffic cones out there. Unless they’re scoring well, you can’t have them out there to do anything defensively period. Jalen and Hunter’s absence has hurt this team so much it’s unbelievable. Next season the front office needs to focus on defense PERIOD

Why is everyone so goddamn slow on this team during fast breaks? It’s not like their thirties. RUN UP THE COURT ALREADY! DON’T LET THESE GUYS BEAT YOU

Until Bey plays better on defense, there is no reason to start him. As a bench scorer, he is great. Bey on defense is a nightmare and people blow by him. Bey is getting his best looks from three because he is playing with Trae. Hopefully, he can improve his defense this summer.

If I had to divide the blame on how this season went, it would go 40% to the front office, 30% to Nate McMillan, and 30% to the Players. The front office traded our best catch-and-shoot 3pt shooter, Kevin Huerter, for two terrible players who aren't on the roster anymore for a first-round pick that we will probably have to trade this offseason anyway. This team failed to have any good 3pt shooting until after the all-star break with Bey, and the Hawks had to rely so much on AJ Griffin (while great who is a rookie and we shouldn't have to put so much on a rookie). The front office also failed to get any good perimeter defenders on this team besides Hunter, so defensively this team is absolute garbage. We also needed an actual backup PG to take the load off of DJ and Trae instead of loading them up with minutes, but the front office didn't care...(shout out to Nick!) Nate McMillan put so many bad habits into this team's head with long twos, constant iso play, and lack of passing that it is disgusting. It is no wonder we are so bad in the 4th quarter. Quin Snyder has to try to fix these hopefully habits. No excuse why this team that has one of the best passers in the league has such low pass attempts and catch-and-shoot attempts. It's disgusting. Players obviously deserve a bunch of blame here. DJ's defense isn't what people thought it was, and he has done a terrible job running the bench. Hunter's perimeter defense isn't that good, Capela is getting worse as the season goes by...everyone knows about JC. The only bright spots this season are AJ, Jalen, and Onyeka. Onyeka is ready to be a starter...I don't know about Jalen and AJ. Finally, is it a coincidence that after Ryan Cameron, the Hawks best PA announcer ever, got fired for asking for a pay raise, we had two mediocre years....just saying

What people need to realize about that final play is that Kyle Anderson realized what was going on in that final play and broke up it. That was why Hunter passed it to John and passed it back to Hunter for that bad shot. Snyder has great ATOs, but sadly the play got broke up. Another thing is that Hunter is not a good passer and ideally you probably want Jalen Johnson to pass it. JJ would’ve noticed the wide open Bogi right there for the potential three. JJ’s absence is felt on this team….shows how bad the depth is on this roster. also thank you everyone for the welcomes!

Considering our history with the Miami heat recently…everyone on this board should be rooting for Heat to win against the Nets. Miami coincidentally plays against Nets as their next game! LETS GO HEAT! (good for the hawks!)

Can anyone explain to me how the bench is so much better in the clutch than our starter? Like it’s honestly sad to see. You have to worry about the starters entering the 4th everytime you watch because they’ve been so bad this whole. It’s crazy.

So much of this year’s failure has to be put on the front office’s failure to put any shooting on this team and Nate’s coaching for barely incentivizing catch and shoot threes and passing the ball period. It’s disgusting. Quin has to fix a lot of shit this off season.
