best piece of advice I have is get there early - I believe the tickets are in designated sections, but it's general admission within that section. The earlier you are, the closer you'll sit. Also, remember - alot of the guys there trying to get drafted are everyday jo's like you or me - only, they're taller. So you may bump into a few of them as people are getting their seats!

If you get a chance to go to the draft in NYC, it's REALLY fun. I was there in '05. Thing is, you gotta NOT let the hawk's picks ruin your trip. That's the key to being there :cheers:

To take away Josh Smith's athleticism is to take away his #1 attribute. He'd be average at best.

God it pained me to see him in a Hawks jersey chucking the ball every few seconds. BUT, if he's figured out how to calm down, and realized he's not a #1, #2, or even #3 scoring option, I'd be up for it.

Along with that T21 had to say, I think it'd be great to introduce a 2nd alternate logo that's something along the lines of an updated Pacman logo - that's the logo we had during some of our best years, and it looks like these are some of the better years we're experiencing now -- so why not? I think that the text on the front should say 'Atlanta' rather than ATL, however I'm not a big fan of The sun's that says 'PHX' on the front I'd love to see an old-style jersey like this (sorry for the quick mock-up, i'm busy around the house)

Davis came out to the locals media and said this is the worst NBA season he's ever had, and that it's also the least fun he's ever had. I watched just about every clippers game this year, and I can tell you: Eric Gordon can run the point. He's certainly a combo guard, but as injury-plagued as the Clippers were this season, Gordon ran the point a lot. Mike Taylor does a good job of penetrating, but it was Eric Gordon was able to set the tempo and work in Dunleavy's halfcourt sets. After the Clippers drew the #1 pick in the Lottery, this was on Baron Davis' Tweeter: "Yes!!!! Going Crazy... I'm back in the gym rt now 4 the 2nd time 2day. The curse of the clippers is over.... Let's go clips nation!!!" Griffin will be the Elton Brand that Baron never got to play with. The reason Bdiddy went to LA is now there, he's just a year late. As for Zbo, he HAS to take a back seat to Griffin. Maybe he'll demand a trade.

Soft or not, look at Dirk's free throw attempts as compared to Smoov's. When he's not busy knocking down 3's, and actually MAKING mid-range jumpers, he drives, and can get to the line at will. He also finishes in the paint. How are we even arguing whether or not dirk is better than Smoov??? It's a moot point anyway, because Cuban's not giving us Dirk. Especially not for garbage.

A couple of things: 1. It's Baron Davis that regrets signing with the Clippers, not the other way around. 2. They wont take Rubio. Eric Gordon is the rookie that noone talked about this year. He's their PG of the future. The kid has one of the best jump shot's I've seen, and when he's on...He's ON. A few more years in this league, with an established low post presence like Blake Griffin that the media focuses on? Man, Eric Gordon's gonna be a household name before you know it. The clippers have alot of good, young talent (Eric Gordon, DeAndre Jordan, Al Thorton, Mike Taylor) , and some great established players (Camby, BD, Fred Jones, Zbo, Kaman). A big rookie like Griffin might be the spark they need to turn their sinking ship around.

HE HAS NO BBALL IQ!!! he revealed it to all those who didn't already know this offseason. He might be the most immature basketball player on the court (after 5 whole years) in the whole NBA

By the way, this officially means I'm rooting for the Suns in to get the #1 pick in the lottery tonight. Maybe they'll be a more willing trade partner with Griffin on their roster.

Cuban's already said it, Dirk will be the last piece of that team he trades. Dirk just said he wants to win a championship and retire in Dallas. As much as I love his play, Dirk isn't in anyone's discussion.

I'd love to see some stats on Smoov that show just what a liability he is on offense. It's finally to the point where the fans in philips arena ( who generally have a low bball IQ as compared to other arenas ) yell in fear when he touches the ball beyond 15 feet. I'd love to have Bosh here, but if we're offered a beneficial deal from elsewhere, why NOT jump on it?
