Michael Bay produced both TCM & the F13th remakes might be why there's some similarities :-) I think it looks fantastic, Elm st. has always been my favorite horror series. cant wait!

While we won, and seemed to have a great game - they Panthers had pretty much no problem running and passing the ball at will. We WERE able to stop them when it mattered, but it looks like our defense has alot of holes that need patching.

He hasnt been released or anything has he? He was a solid backup for the Clippers, and actually ended up starting several games for them. I dont see them giving up on him anytime soon.

Yes - I've seen both endings and have to say that I agree. There is a Descent 2 coming out in September I believe. It's supposed to pick up right where the last one left off. cant wait.

Have you by chance seen 'The Descent' ? It's not a remake or anything, but It's the best horror movie I've seen in YEARS. (You know when rottentomatoes.com gives a horror movie an 85, they are onto something...)

You didnt like the new TCM's??? I actually thought they were really well done! I also really liked the new Halloween. I thought Rob Zombie did a good job reinventing the series. H2 comes out in August if memory serves, and it was filmed in Atlanta! I'm really looking foward to the new Elm Street. Freddy was always my favorite.

I absolutely hated the movie. While I loved the casting, the characters were under-written, and as you said, under-developed. If you're gonna cast Bale and Depp, dont slap us in the face with crappy writing. The movie was beautiful, and aesthetically pleasing throughout, and i enjoyed the soundtrack, but the audio was very poor. The studio even sent out a letter to theaters requesting they raise the volume a whole 30% (which by theatre standards is extreme). Also - I thought there were WAYYYYY too many characters in this movie. I guess they decided to go the buffet route: quantity over quality. SPOILER (kind of) Everyone knows the story, Dillinger dies...but when it happens in this movie, you dont care. it's not bothersome when the main character of the movie dies, simply because you do not develop an attachment to him over the course of the movie. That's a problem. I've never been a Michael Mann fan, and my dislike is even stronger now

I'm a big Lost fan - You'd definitely have to start from season 1 if you wanted to pick it up though. I love The Office, and I just finished season 1 of TrueBlood (it's a good show, but overrated might be a good word for it too). I also just finished the Deadwood series - which I thought was great (kept be begging for more after the series ended!) I recently finished the Sopranos series, and thought it was the greatest series I've ever seen. So if I had to recommend anything, and you haven't seen it yet, The Sopranos is spectacular.

I bought a red Dodge Magnum in late December and LOVE it. 08 was the last year they made it though, what a shame! They are amazing! If you can find one out there, I've seen some pretty good deals on low-mileage used ones.

I thought it was a fantastic article. Working in professional sports, I find it very interesting to see who ranks where in fan relations, stadium experience, etc. In every sports town, there are a LOT of people who work for the franchises -- As such, an article like this gives people within the business ( YES...it's a business) a look at just how they measure up with their work performance. I say kudos to the article. The post is far from brilliant, it's the article that's the real winner.
