  1. LD is doing very well.
  2. Interesting. It was a Great win. However, had we lost many would have called for LD's head. Interesting was keeping Mac and Rad on the bench for the entire forth quarter and 4 overtimes.Coach's decision (or indifference) aside, there should be a lasting bond with those 8 players that brought the win home.MacGrady is the only true Superstar (former et al) time in this league and I would rather see him involved more.
  3. You mean the Atlantic Division. If the Hawks are healthy, the only team that I fear is a healthy Rose-led Bulls team. With all players healthy we are a very very dangerous team. Tomorrow against Utah I expect a boost from Mac and Stack. Marvin looks good of the bench too.
  4. We have begun this most crucial stretch of this season. With 6 games in these 8 days brings upon us an opportunity to define this season. Coach Drew and staff is in charge of managing this journey. I believe he needs to play only the healthy guys and allow the ailing ones to heal. The risk in this is losing games we may win. Well trusting the healthy one's will strengthen us in the long run (playoffs). These pro's gotta grind it out and especially make ways to win against the "under .500 teams. If Zaza is not ready, Damp and Twin gotta step up,
  5. We really surprised a lot of people last spring dominating Orlando and sparing well against Chicago. With these many injuries we have shown some veteran grit when in past we would have folded(in several games) instead. Since we did not make a move at the trade deadline the thinking must be get healthy and run with what we have.Health is the x factor. If healthy we can make a run at the ECF. A good showing for the team ma mean good showings for individuals, means more trade possibilities over the summer.
  6. We have 7 games in 10 days coming up. One game at a time Hoss.
  7. I believe what we see in Josh and Joe is evidence that we can beat any team, with a full roster. Zaza has been giving us quality play as the starting center. We know Al. Offensively he is a mid-range shooter, a big that can run the court in transition. Defensively he is a very good post defender particularly against any PF. With the ascending high quality bench it has become obvious our starters, Zaza,Al,JoshJoe,Jeff. If we cannot move Joe or amnest Joe, we should roll with what we got. This bench is the difference. The bench is actually the veteran mindset and a changing culture. Josh maturing is mind-tantalizing with his prowess. So, with a healthy Al we are a very very scary team. What we hoped we would be. This soft schedule the rest of the way should provide rest, bench minutes and confidence going into the playoffs. Look, Miami struggles with our zone and Rose maybe continue to fight against his body, this could be the year to "Steal" a championship.
  8. It just dawned on me, your definition of Teague's game is similiar to D. Rose in style. I think Teague is fine and ligit. He should continue to improve.
  9. A healthy Hawks team is scary. Only Chicago with a healthy Rose scares me. since we made no moves, I'm looking for Al to get back. If we had made moves (for the future), I would have sat Al til next year. With a healthy Al, we are trill. We have seen the bench dominate other second strings, we see Josh in Beast Mode (since the snub), we saw in Denver what Joe is capable of. This is the best Hawk team we have seen since Mookie and the gang. With all our flaws, only Chicago is in the way if we are healthy and motivated.
  10. Three Things: Sloan was run in Utah because he could not relate to the players. What has Sloan won? Not a title. He would be a retread. Billy D at Florida would be better.
  11. It is for sale, why would it be fantasy? Does you being mod make your ish make sense?
  12. I believe the team is for sale. You're not paying attention. I'm not talking about this ownership.
  13. If that 10 million frees up cap to get the personnel which fills up Philips, contends to a championship, brings in additional revenues never seen before (merchandise, sponserships and such), that 10 million is seed money not a hinderence.
  14. Raised in Atlanta, dad is from Swainsboro.
  15. Joe would have to pass waivers to pick and choose a team. If more than one bid for Joe it is up for bids. I believe some team will pay Joe for 10 Mil. or more or year. Atlanta would then pay the balance. Joe's money comes off the books(cap). A new owner paying the extra 10 million rolled into the deal, seamlessly. Joe ain't the guy no one wants, teams will bid for him. Its big business, you got to give to get.
  16. wants out. I have no evidence but just a hunch. I see a house-cleaning coming with a sale to follow. ASG wants out and the price will be low. Amnesting Joe makes it easier for new owners to pick up the tab with the value down. Funny, Teague and Zaza may be the only ones back next year.
  17. What is a "little bit" ? $100,000? What would the tax be another $100,000? Is that insufferable for ASG?
  18. Media might like it, guys probably shower quicker and pressers end sooner.
  19. Josh is at the level as he was in the Chicago playoff series. When the guy is focused he is awesome. That is what he is. He cannot trade him because he is the heartbeat of this team. We and Dwight together would be awesome, with Teague I believe can bring a championship. We have a top-notch bench, a Dwight away from elitist status.
  20. You have severely contradicted yourself in this post. Baseball began signing the teenage Carribean player for a quarter of the high school senior in America. That kid in the Dominican Republic was/is signed at 15 for $10,000 while the high school senior at Southwest Dekalb with a football scholarship in tow would need $100,000 to bypass college football. See the SWD kid can't get a scholorship to play baseball at Georgia State because half-azz Skippy from Riverwood needs that slot. Do the research board.
  21. Honestly, I thought he was a coach. I called check. TMac: All that money and yo hair as nappy as it was back in S.E. Durant: See, All Three balls got my name on them. LD: Zaza, you're in Zaza: Cool, dinner at my place. Josh: You scared of this! You scared of this! Yeah, Howyoulikemeknow!!
  22. The little leagues are filled in Atlanta. The middle and high schools turn players away. Explain why colleges are not recruiting in urban areas? When is the last time you saw a "utility player" on a MLB roster? The Black player has to hit the ball for 450 ft or run from first to home in 9 seconds. East Cobb and Columbus are not the only places baseball is played.
