Right now, we have the following players under contract for next season:

Theo/Nazr/Leon

SAR/Hendu

Kukoc/Crawford

DJ/DG

JT/Davis

That is 11 of a possible 12 roster spots. Babcock has indicated that he wants to resign Ira Newble and that takes up all 12 spots BEFORE we even sign our draft pick. The only way I can see JV coming back is: 1) if we do a 2 for 1 deal; or 2) if the league changes the rules and allows teams to place players on an "inactive list" rather than on "injured reserve." Even if the league does change the rules however, the Hawks still might not keep Vaughn for salary cap reasons.

Damn I wish Email would dissapear.If he thought any other

team would take him he would have opted out of his contract,

but he knows no other team will sign him that is why he wants

to stay.
