TomahawkChop
http://www.accessatlanta.com/ajc/sports/ug...21injuries.html Both will miss the Kentucky game. I hope these won't be big losses, I'm not worried so much about Gibson's absence as I am about Smith's absence. Kentucky is no push over team, either. Traceman
concerned. Musa and Fred are HUGE losses. I hope Stinchcomb can go at tackle or we could really be in trouble. I think we have a lot more quality depth at WR than RB so you're right, we may miss Musa more than Fred, but Fred will definitely be missed. We need to be able to move the ball on the ground because KY's offense really wears down the D over the course of the game. Tackling big Jared Lorenzen is tough when you're fresh, let alone when you're exhausted in the 4th quarter. If I'm Mark Richt and the running game struggles, I'd probably get Shockley in the game and let the KY defense try to defend his combination of running/passing. He looked awfully sharp to me for a guy who had missed 5 games. I think he needs to play, regardless of what the media is saying. If the offense is clicking well, I wouldn't break up Greene's rhythm but if it's not, I wouldn't hesitate long at all before giving Shockley a possession ot two. Gray Mule
Kentucky had a great half. Dang, what a huge Q.B. Did you see the "little" defensive end just bounce off when he tried to sack him in the 1st half? Good thing for the Dawgs that there was a second half because KY gave it to them in the 1st half. Good win for Georgia. They shouldn't loose any ground this week --- #5 in the polls. Noticed that Notre Dame won again. Must be good.
