kudzu23
Falcons down 17 points, 17-34 with 8 minutes left in the 4th and the Steelers fumble on a punt return. Then the falcons are down 7 with 2 minutes left in the 4th and Vick runs in in from the 11 for a TD.. TIE GAME!!!! Pittsburgh won the toss on overtime.. TomahawkChop
And there goes overtime, first NFL game to end in a tie since 1997 they said. It was a [censored] of a game, Falcons engineered a great comeback in the 4th but neither could put points on the board on OT. Great ending play!! kudzu23
I cant understand why Reeves called timeout with 8 seconds left in the overtime for the 55+ yard field goal.. Arent you supposed to leave like no less than 3 seconds to anticipate a block and recovery by the defense so they dont get a last shot [censored] merry?? And look what happened.. Exactly that!!!!! ATLien_
The only thing I can think is that the play clock ran out before he could get it down to 3 seconds. Which would have resulted in a delay of game making it a 60 yard field goal. Vick has totally changed the attitude of that team. He is the spark that makes them believe they can win, and he has and toughness that has rubbed off on the team. Falcons teams in the past would have just hung their heads and laid down when they were down by 17, but Vick willed them through. Now who is going to be the guy on the hawks that can elevate the players around him and will them to Victory? Someone has to step up. Jt has tried, but the rest of the team has to believe.
